Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 3rd ODI: Preview and Live Score

There is very good news for Bangladesh that the junior man Shakib Al Hasan has reached to the top position as an all-rounder after the last match of along-side Zimbabwe during the home series. He is the first Bangladesh man who titled as a number-one all-round. So there is two good new for Bangladesh one is equal the series and other is Shakib Al Hasan’s has reached on the top all-rounder.

In the first match of the ongoing series Shakib Al Hasan secured 3 wickets just spending 11 runs from ten overs and in the second match a miserly bowling and 22 runs just from 24 balls sent him to the top of the ICC Cricket Rankings. This is very prestigious title for any one although it could change anytime depending on one’s performances.

"It feels great to be ranked No. 1. My only goal is to keep performing and win matches for the Bangladesh team and I feel more inspired and motivated to give my all in the field. I also know that retaining the top spot will be even tougher and it will require lots of sacrifices, consistency, hard work and dedication," Shakib said.

The previous records of Bangladesh against Zimbabwe are very satisfactory. In the last two tours Bangladesh acquired victories in both series home and abroad. The tie breaking match will be more anticipated to the fans of both teams.

Bangladesh is thinking seriously to take on the series title. But the batting line-up is not too stable. If you look over the first match, you can measure it easily the early losing wickets through them not to make a challenging score. It was not easy to overcome Bangladeshi’s 124 runs. Similarly, Zimbabwe did not take easily to the Bangladeshi bowlers and lost 5 wickets just adding 37 runs and to win the match the guest Zimbabwe was in pressure and took the match by 2 wickets.

In the second match Bangladeshi batsmen was looking change. The opening batsmen batted carefully and showed passion to overtake 160 run. Mupariwa hit in bangldesh batting line up first time and hunted opener Tamim Iqbal’s wicket. Other opener Mehrab Hossain jnr added 43 runs from 108 balls. Bangladeshi captain Mohammad Ashraful disappointed all the cricket fans in both innings. In both matches he just score 4 and 5 runs.

Anyway, Bangladesh may learn a lot after the miserable loss along-side Sri Lanka and the defeat in during the first match of the tri-nation series to Zimbabwe.

In the first match Bangladesh, who chose to bat first and it was wrong decision from Bangladeshi decision maker and Bangladesh had to suffer al lot. Bangladesh lost the top order batsmen earlier including the skipper Mohammad Ashraful. Not batsmen could score any good figure in the first innings.

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka ODI 2009: Shoaib Akhtar’s fitness question?

No doubt that Shoaib Akhtar is one of the fast bowlers in cricket world. He was kept out from the international cricket for 14 months. He was available for the Indian Primer League, when PCB. Now, he is regular for the international cricket and playing along side the Sri Lanka team in the three matches ODI in the home ground. But there is question about his fitness after the second match against Sri Lanka. Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik himself explains to the board about the condition of the last two matches and asked to find out the new face for the Pakistan team.

 Reuters reported:

Malik said: "We have to move forward. There are a number of good fast bowlers around on the domestic scene and they deserve a chance. I will take this up with the selectors and team management and these things will be kept in mind."

"If you look at his performances and record and matches he has won, there is no question over his effectiveness," Malik said. "But the question is over 100% fitness. Cricket has changed and if you aren't 100% fit then it is difficult."

It is clear that the day of Shoaib Aktar has come to end. Even his IPL franchise is thinking to leave him. The notable think is that he was played in the side of Kolkata Knights Riders. What is his problem, his long run-up? As per as I remember that Pakistan most success blower Wasim Akram advice Shoaib should give concentration on technique than speed.
