"If you look at his performances and record and matches he has won, there is no question over his effectiveness," Malik said. "But the question is over 100% fitness. Cricket has changed and if you aren't 100% fit then it is difficult."

Shoaib Akhtar is coming to play IPLT20

The five-year ban fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is supposed to play IPLT20. After suspension of the bad for one month, there is no problem for Shoaib Akhtar to join IPLT20. Shoaib Akhtar has got release form the ban because of a request form Shoaib Akhtar’s Lower that he is not allow to play IPLT20 tournament that has been taken place form the middle of April. Shoaib Akhtar has been signed with bollywood super’s Kolkata Knight Riders for $ 450,000.

It is the not the first time for Shoaib Akhtar to ban for the tournament. On the T20 Championship he hit Mohammad Asif with bat during the practices time. That is why he has to back home without participating in the inaugural T20 Championship. Again violation the players rules he has been banned by the PCB for five years.

The issue further got worsened when he accused PCB chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf of demanding commission for a contract with the IPL. Dr Ashraf later sent defamation notice of Rs 200 million to the bowler. And when he (Akhtar) did not reply to the notice, Ashraf’s lawyer field a suit in civil court of Hina Muzaffar for damages of Rs 220 million. The court adjourned hearing till May 16 in the absence of Shoaib Akhtar when Dr Ashraf’s lawyer was present to plead the case.

The message is good for Kolkata Knight Riders. It seems that not only KKR but also the IPLT20 commissioner Lalit Modi is also happy for this decision of PCB.

"It's a great moment for us because he is a great asset for IPL. He has got a huge fan base in India and the Knight Riders are extremely happy. I spoke to (Knight Riders owner) Shah Rukh (Khan), he is very happy. He wanted Shoaib to come for one day at least. We are happy that Shoaib can now play for him," Modi added.

I think it is a very good decision from PCB otherwise Shoaib Akhaer could join ICL. Kolkata Knight Riders will be benefited more because Shoaib Aktar will be more potential for the team in the absence of a couple of foreign players.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: Pakistan has called Sohail Tanvir as Replacement for Shoaib Akter

After being misbehave with the teammate Mohammad Asif during preparations for the inaugural World Twenty20 in South Africa and sent back home. Now another left arm Sohail Tanvir has been confirmed as the replacement for Pakistan's Shoaib Akhtar for T20. The International Cricket Council's (ICC) Technical Committee has permitted Sohail Tanvir for T20.

A report was published on World Cricket that Player replacements are usually allowed if players are injured or unavailable due to personal issue, but the ICC confirmed that the exceptional circumstances surrounding Shoiab's unavailability would not mean a replacement was disallowed.

"In this case, the Technical Committee approved Shoaib's replacement on the basis of exceptional circumstances, for the following reasons: the incident and disciplinary action taken by the PCB is not related to the matches in the event; the tournament has not commenced; and there is a precedent to support the replacement," an ICC statement explained.

The incident that happened just nearly one week ago, I think it will be a big misunderstanding with the cricketers who will play on the T20 because Sohail Tanvir is most probably not experienced about Twenty20 Match. It is my opinion but the authority will think more.

Twenty20 World Cup 2007: Pakistan has sent Shoeb back to home

Pakistan team is at Johannesburg in South Africa now for playing Twenty20 World Cup 2007. During the practices Pakistan pacer Shoeb Akter adopted conflict with the team mate Asif. For this incident Shoeb has to send back home. The senior cricket Amir Sohel has supported for this decision.

Reuters reported that the incident, described as a "shameful episode" by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf, occurred in the nets on Thursday when a heated argument led to the 32-year-old Akhtar striking his fellow fast bowler on the thigh with a bat.

"A decision has been taken to call back Shoaib on the basis of an initial inquiry by the touring team management," PCB chief executive Shafqat Naghmi told Reuters.

"Shoaib has admitted hitting Asif," he said. "Thankfully Asif didn't suffer any major injury apart from a bruise on his left thigh and he will be okay."

Akhtar told the Indian television channel NDTV: "I am feeling very bad. Sometimes you do things in a fit of temper".

Although no decision does not come from the Pakistan camp but it may called Mohammad Sami of the replacement of Shoeb.

Shoaib is hopeful to play in the next Cricket World Cup ‘07

Shoaib became seriously injured in the second test at Port Elizabeth earlier this month between Pakistan and South Africa. He is hoping that he will be fit for the next world cup.

"I was willing to take injections and bowl in the second innings of the test, but doctors told me I should not take the risk of a further injury," Shoaib told reporters on Wednesday.

"I was told to return to Pakistan and recover from my injury to prepare for the World Cup which is my main target now."

The 31-year-old strike bowler, who has a history of breakdowns, was also diagnosed with fluid in his knee.

He was left out of the original squad for South Africa because of poor fitness, but said he was 80 percent fit.

In South Africa, Shoaib was involved in an altercation with coach Bob Woolmer, which was caught on television, at the start of the second day's play in Port Elizabeth.

He said the issue had been resolved.

"There was an incident and it occurred because of a misunderstanding," Shoaib said. "Woolmer didn't realise how serious my injury was and I reacted strongly to his queries. But it is now sorted out."

Shoaib was forbidden for two-year in November after testing positive for taking. After the test the result comes to his favorer it was his first test.
