The Rajasthan Royals is the champions of the inaugural Indian Premier League (DLF IPL T20). "He was very raw when he first met me, and most of his experience was, and remains, with a tennis ball," said Naushan. "We have worked on his action and tried to develop him into a proper pace bowler. Kamran's work will hopefully start to yield results. I don't think it has really hit Kamran yet that he will be in the same squad as so many big players.

"We entered him into the Mumbai Police squad for a Twenty20 tournament at the DY Patil Stadium recently, and he impressed plenty there. Darren Berry happened to be there and he was impressed with Kamran."

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia are jointly the owners of Kings XI Punjab. In the recent auction the franchises took parts and bought the English all-rounder Ravi Bopara for $450,000. During the auction Preity Zinta faced huge competition with bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan. Preity tried to take Bangladeshi pacer Mashrafe Mortaza but she could not overtake the king Khan.

Pakistan players have been banned for DLF IPL second season

No Pakistani cricketers will attend in the second season of DLF Indian Premier League (IPL T20) this year April-May 2009. Pakistan government has declared that their players will not allow joining IPL this year for security reason. After the massive terrorist attack in Mumbai last year, relationship between India-Pakistan has depressed more. Even, India stopped their tour of Pakistan in stead they are playing a five matches ODI series and a Twenty20 match in Sri Lanka. 

There is some new Pakistan players named for the auction but after hard decision for the government of Pakistan the players will not come for the second season and the franchises are also terminated their names from their lists for this year. In the last year, most of the Pakistan cricketers played well except Shoaib Akter. Sohail Tanvir built two records during the inaugural IPL T20. He took 6 wickets in an innings and the highest wicket takers (20 wickets) in the whole tournament.

Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra 11.7% owner Rajasthan Royals minority stake

Rajasthan Royals is the champions of the inaugural Indian Premier League. By beating Chennai Super Kings in the final it became the champions. This is the same match of when Chennai scored 240 runs the highest total in the IPLT20. Running behind 240 runs on this match Kings XI Punjab failed to reach the target.

"The girls are merely artistes who perform as per the instructions of organisers," Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Ramrao Wagh said, adding that a performance license has been granted to the organisers of the match between Mumbai Indians and Deccan Chargers to be held at Nerul's D Y Patil stadium.

In the event of the cheerleaders indulging in obscenity, Wagh said, the "license holders" (the organisers) will be prosecuted under various provisions of the Bombay Police Act for indecency in a public place and breach of license terms.
