Pakistan players have been banned for DLF IPL second season

No Pakistani cricketers will attend in the second season of DLF Indian Premier League (IPL T20) this year April-May 2009. Pakistan government has declared that their players will not allow joining IPL this year for security reason. After the massive terrorist attack in Mumbai last year, relationship between India-Pakistan has depressed more. Even, India stopped their tour of Pakistan in stead they are playing a five matches ODI series and a Twenty20 match in Sri Lanka

There is some new Pakistan players named for the auction but after hard decision for the government of Pakistan the players will not come for the second season and the franchises are also terminated their names from their lists for this year. In the last year, most of the Pakistan cricketers played well except Shoaib Akter. Sohail Tanvir built two records during the inaugural IPL T20. He took 6 wickets in an innings and the highest wicket takers (20 wickets) in the whole tournament.
