Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra 11.7% owner Rajasthan Royals minority stake

Rajasthan Royals is the champions of the inaugural Indian Premier League. By beating Chennai Super Kings in the final it became the champions. This was the only team which was leaded by a foreign captain. Shane Warn was that person who was the captain in aside during the match running time and was the Coach off-time of the tournament.

Recently, the team is going to sell a part of the minority stake to others. There is a news is in media that Shilpa Shetty and her partner Raj Kundra has bought the 12% stake of the Champions of IPL20 2008. Even Shilpa Shetty herself told it by meeting to the press men.

Business Standard reported:

Speaking at a press conference in Mumbai, Shetty said: “It is an honour to be associated with Rajasthan Royals, I hope for a re-run from them this time too. I will help by providing my expertise in merchandising and music videos — basically to develop the creative part of the franchisee.”

Shilpa Shetty is the fourth bollywood superstar who has become the stake holders of any Indian Premier League (IPL T20). Previously, Shah Ruka Khan along with Juhi Chawla(although she withdrew her franchise) stake is the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, Pretty Zinta is the for KingXI Punjab. So, Shilpa is the fourth stars.

The Rajasthan Royals was the at least franchise of Indian Premier League. Emerging Media group, Lachlan Murdoch, Sir. Aditya S Chellaram and Suresh Chellaram was the previous stake holders and the new and 11.7% stake holder bollywood actress and Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty and her business partner Raj Kundra. They have become the partners by paying approximately US $15.4 million.
