Manchester United v Liverpool 2010: who will win?

Fans of English Premier League is decorating to celebrate the year’s most anticipating match on Sunday, 21 Mach 2010. Liverpool could not showing their strength in this season and standing in the number five by plying 30 matches with 51 points that is less than 5 from Tottenham. This statistic is not important for the visitors in the next match because the opposition Manchester United has very poor winning record against Liverpool. Man United last beat Liverpool two years ago.

All-rounder James Hopes doubt to appear in the Twenty20 Championship 2010

James Hopes is an Australian all-rounder cricketer who uses to play on the side of Queensland. The thirty one years old has signed with the Kings XI Punjab but he may not attend in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier league 2010 because of his injury. It is totally doubtful about his participation in the upcoming Twenty20 World Championship this year that has been scheduled to commence on from May this year.

 “I was pushing to be in the Twenty20 World Cup squad and if I could have gone over there (India) after this game and played some Twenty20 games over there and done OK my case may have been stronger to be included in that team.” Hopes said.

As an all-rounder he has participated in the 43 twenty20 tournament and scored 752 runs. His strike rate is looking pretty good but average is not so fruitful.  But as a bowler he is looking a little bit successful by picking up 32 wickets from 43 appearances. So the next Twenty20 Championship is his one of the important issue. In his T20s career, he appeared in 11 matches and earned 11 wickets and 75 runs.

Victory over Stuttgart: Barcelona is in Quarter final UEFA champions League 2010


It was the second leg match on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 between Barcelona and Stuttgart at Camp Nou Stadium. Barcelona defeated the visitors by 4-0 in UEFA Champions League. This victory has processed them for the quarter final. 

Barcelona striker Mess has scored two goals. At 13th minutes he scored the first goal on the side of Camp Nou and his second goal personally came after halftime in 60th minute which was the third goal for Barcelona because in 22nd minute Pedro scored the second goal. 

No doubt that Lionel Messi’s two goals are the most important part to win the match but Right back, the Brazilian player Daniel Alves’s and important crosses was very important. During the match he was dominated in the ground from first to last. 

The First leg match of the quarter final will be played on 30 and 31th the second leg will be played on April 6th and 7th.

Probable squad of India: Twenty20 World Championship 2010


Indian Squad for Twenty20 World Championship 2010 announced




A probable list of 30 men has found in a website of Indian squad has named for the next Twenty20 World Championship 2010. Among them the complete squad of 15 men will be announced on 26 March. The selection panel has been decorated with the five pioneers headed by Krishnamachari Srikkanth. Selected 15 players will fly for Caribbean to take part in the third edition of the World T20 championship from April 30-May 16.

India will be in the group C where South Africa and Afghanistan will be the opposition and the first match has to play against Afghanistan on May 1, 2010. The selection committee meeting will meet on 26 March to select the members.

It is know that the all-rounder Irfan Pathan would be wept out from the squad for the season 3 even he is not on the list of probable 30 men. Irfan Pathan was played very important role in South Africa when India became champions. Will Sachin Tendulkar be a part of the tour of West Indies? He is performing well in IPL season 3.

Who will lead Pakistan: Afridi or Razzaq in Twenty20 World Cup 2010?

In spite of playing very good cricket, Pakistan is always in trouble in both areas internal & external. At this moment they are without captain. The upcoming international cricket competition Twenty20 World Championship 2010 is knocking at the door. In this critical moment, when they should move to improve their quality, they are running behind leader selection. Last week some of the cricket has stepped them down from their responsibilities. Now the selection body is searching appropriate person to lead the nation in the international tournament. It was heard that the vice-caption Shahid Afridi suppose to be the responsible captain. Instead he is proposing Razzaq as a skipper for the team. During a discussion with the Butt he has proposed his mane.

“Butt discussed a scenario where Afridi could be captain for the T20 World Cup but also asked him who he would suggest if the board decided against making him (Afridi) captain because of his recent disciplinary problems,” cricket365 quoted the source as saying.
“Afridi suggested the name of Abdul Razzaq to Butt when asked to name a possible person who could lead Pakistan and enjoy the confidence of other players in the team,” the source added.

ICC World Twenty20 World Cup Fixtures and venues

IPL is celebrating the season 3. At the same time, the entire top nations are taking preparation for the Twenty20 World Championship 2010. You all the venue have been selected as the Caribbean country. This is the season 3 the world will be celebrate the very short formatted cricket competitions. It is a two-year competition by turn but due to change the Mini-World Cup schedule, it is taking place after one year. India achieved the prestigious trophy in the inaugural ceremony that was held in South Africa and Pakistan earns the trophy in the second season in England.

According to the FTP & ICC cricket schedule, West Indies will organize the season’s ceremony. Twelve teams will be the competitors. Among the two teams achieves the qualification by playing the pre –selection match that was held in Dubai.

The new comer, Afghanistan has showed a magical performance in the Qualifying round. They have beaten the experienced nation Ireland in the final in February. So, beside the 10 Test playing countries the audience will get to watch the extra performances.

The twelve teams will play a Robin-Round match by dividing 4 groups and two teams from each group will play super-eight matches in two groups. Top two will be qualified for the first Knock-out round in semifinals.

The cover Twenty20 Championship 2010 will be opened on Friday, April 30th 2010 and Super-eight from May 6th 2010. Two matches will be held in same stadium each day and all the match will be played in three cricket grounds.

The Indian Premier League Fixture and time schedule of first 10 days


The Indian Premier League has been back to its home country and the season-III is going to take place from 12 March 2010.  The defending champions Deccan Chargers will move against Kolkata Knight Riders at the ground Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai where the final of the season will be held. Before the opening match it will be colorful procession and during the inaugural ceremony.
