In spite of playing very good cricket, Pakistan is always in trouble in both areas internal & external. At this moment they are without captain. The upcoming international cricket competition Twenty20 World Championship 2010 is knocking at the door. In this critical moment, when they should move to improve their quality, they are running behind leader selection. Last week some of the cricket has stepped them down from their responsibilities. Now the selection body is searching appropriate person to lead the nation in the international tournament. It was heard that the vice-caption Shahid Afridi suppose to be the responsible captain. Instead he is proposing Razzaq as a skipper for the team. During a discussion with the Butt he has proposed his mane.
“Butt discussed a scenario where Afridi could be captain for the T20 World Cup but also asked him who he would suggest if the board decided against making him (Afridi) captain because of his recent disciplinary problems,” cricket365 quoted the source as saying.
“Afridi suggested the name of Abdul Razzaq to Butt when asked to name a possible person who could lead Pakistan and enjoy the confidence of other players in the team,” the source added.
