Injury, Pakistan Team and the 3rd Test

Pakistan's right-arm medium-fast bowler Iftikhar Anjum is being sent to India in time to strengthen the bowling attack for the third Test at Bangalore. Pakistan cricket board toke the decision after injury of Umar Gul which lined him out of the entire Test series and also the illness to Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Sami that strictly hampered Pakistan's performance in the second Test. Although Pakistan's team management in India had requested for Abdur Rauf, a bowling allrounder, to be sent yet the Pakistan board preferred Anjum as a better alternate regarding his international experience.

Anjum has introverted Test performance against his name, will join replacement of Sohail Tanvir who has played two Tests. Yasir Arafat was sent to Gul's replacement that is yet to make his Test debut in the bowling line-up along with Shoaib and Sami.

"A lot of effort was made to ensure that Yasir [Arafat] reached Kolkata in time [for the second Test] and he did but still wasn't included in the playing line-up," Naghmi said. "Now we don't know for sure whether Rauf will be needed for the Bangalore Test which is why we have asked the captain to explain to us the reason why he needs him in India."

PCB chief operating officer Shafqat Naghmi was excerpt to the Pakistani media as expressing surprise and disinclination over Shoaib Malik asking for Rauf as cover especially in light of his reasonable performance regarding the of his good bowling this season: 20 wickets in seven matches at an average of over 42.

Naghmi added more, "Many of effort were made to guarantee that if Yasir Arafat might reach Kolkata in time for the second Test then he would needed for the team. He did but still wasn't included in the playing line-up. "Now we don't know surely whether Rauf will be needed for the Bangalore Test which is why we have asked the captain to explain to us the reason why he needs him in India."

Indian people are crazy for both cricket and cinema. They do not make any consideration for the two fields. There was a rumor in Indian cinema that if any one produces any film on games it will not get any benefit in Indian bollywood kingdom. But all rumor stopped after getting a huge hit in box office with the film Chak de India. The film was produced under Yashraj films banner. After getting more box office hit some producers are filling to make film on sports.

Sanath Jayasuriya may Retire form International Cricket

No-one knew that Sanath Jayasuriya would return from test cricket like this. This exit reminds Mike Atherton's embarrassed departure at the Oval in 2001. Nobody knew surely that this was his final innings in Test cricket.

Sanath Jayasuriya deep-rooted, "This is the right time to retire from test cricket". Once before, he had bowed out on this ground against Pakistan in April 2006, then a vicious broken finger quite exactly required his hand. Though he changed on that decision - with some success - in England later that year but at this time his age is 38 so there will be no possibility of come back. “Besides there are some young cricketers coming up, and I wanted to go while on top," said Sanath Jayasuriya. Also he said, "Life without cricket will be tough, but I will still be playing one-day cricket and contributing to the team."

Cricinfo published an article that:

"This is the right time to retire," Jayasuriya confirmed. He had bowed out on this ground once before, against Pakistan in April 2006, when a nasty broken finger quite literally forced his hand. Though he reneged on that decision - with some success - in England later that year, this time, at the age of 38, there will be no coming back "There are some young guys coming up, and I wanted to go while on top," he said. "Life without cricket will be tough, but I will still be playing one-day cricket and contributing to the team."Sanath Jayasuriya

If you see the test statistics of Sanath Joyasuriya then you would seem that he has been a vanishing power in test cricket. When he reached the aggressive 78 then he was obligated to return pavilion for met with a pat on the shoulder. He went back a semi-embrace by the incoming batsman, Kumar Sangakkara, before Sri Lanka's uber-fan, Percy Abeysekera, chaperoned him to the pavilion steps beneath a giant national flag.

This is his second half-century in 16 Tests enlarged back to November 2004.

Most of the cricket fans know that Santah Jayasuriya is a match winner player. It’s proof is gotten to see the statistics of his carrier. How much dangerous he is specially in ODI match understand to see the playing of 1996 World Cup. James Anderson won't forge the anger of his cutting edge in a hurry - his fourth over was lashed for six successive fours, only the third occasion that has been achieved in the history of Test cricket.

Muttiah Muralitharan is the Highest Wicket Achiever

Muttiah Muralitharan has achieved the record of highest wicket-taker in test cricket after breaking Shane Warne's record of 708 test wickets. Muttiah Muralitharan achieves this record dismissing Paul Collingwood during England’s first session in Kandy. Muttiah Muralitharan achieved this record in his 116th test matches.

Muttiah Muralitharan is a match winner cricketer. His ability to spin the ball was never in doubt at the moment when he entered Test cricket, but through most of the first half of his career, the turn was conventional making him a much easier bowler to undertake. The doosra, though, has added whole as a new dimension to his bowling, and made him excessive more dangerous proposition for opposition batsmen.

He drew level with Warne when he had Ravi Bopara caught down the leg side on the second afternoon, but was forced to wait for the crucial wicket through a mixture of rain, which forced the players off on Sunday afternoon, and stubborn English resistance. It took him until his 10th over of the day to squeeze out the cherished scalp as Collingwood and Ryan Sidebottom offered stubborn resistance. Finally, though, in his second spell of the day be bowled Collingwood with a doosra and the ground erupted.

Muttiah Muralitharan is a greater cricketer and the only bowler takes more than 50 wickets against ever opposition team he has played.

Muttiah Muralitharan is one of only six bowlers who have toke all the 11 wickets in a Test match. Jim Laker. The others are S Venkataraghavan, Geoff Dymock, Abdul Qadir and Waqar Younis.

The feature of Muttiah Muralitharan career, which has already extended more than 15 years, has been his exceptional reliability. In the last eight years, Muttiah Muralitharan’s average for each year has never gone beyond 23. The presence of another spin wizard in the same era has destined Muttiah Muralitharan 's numbers have always been compared with Shane Warne's. Warne was faster off the blocks than Muttiah Muralitharan, getting to 100 wickets in just 23 Tests, compared to Muttiah Muralitharan's 27, but since then Muttiah Muralitharan has got his wickets at a much faster rate in terms of dismissals per test.

Congratulation to Muttiah Muralitharan, you are great.
