Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: Pakistan team is strong against Indian

The match between India and Pakistan of the Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007 will take place at 14 September. Before the match Pakistan has played one match with Scotland and beat by 52 runs. In the match all-rounder Shahid Afridi did 22 runs and 4 wickets. So Pakistan has got a victory and experience too. On the other hand India is totally new. Although they played all long ODI series along with England and Scotland but they have no mentionable experience on Twenty20 match.

Pakistan’s victory against Scotland has made them steady and confidence and it is clear on opinion of the captain Shoeb Malik that is "There are areas like batting and fielding we have to work on, but I am confident we will do well in the tournament."

Afridi could not build on the score as he moved across his stumps and attempted a paddle sweep off Wright, only for Haq to grab the catch at short fine-leg.

Younis fell two overs later when he holed out against Haq to leave Pakistan tottering at 116-6 in the 16th over. Misbah-ul Haq (23) and Kamran Akmal (16) put on 30 from 17 balls to boost the total which left Scotland facing a target of nine runs an over.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: India vs Pakistan, Sri Lanka vs Kenya and Australia vs England

On 14 September, three important matches of T20 Championship will hold on. Why I am saying important because the match India vs Pakistan always important, the match Sri Lanka vs Kenya important because they will have to play the next match with New Zealand and other is England vs Australia. There is no doubt that it is not important. ICC Champion Australia has lost the first match against Zimbabwe.

The teams who will play on the semi-final of Twenty 20
Teams of Semi-Final and schedule

I am not going to describe the match between India and Pakistan because you all know why it is important?

Secondly, the match between Sri Lanka and Kenya is important because Kenya lost the first match with New Zealand. If they loose the match along with Sri Lanka, they have to out from the tournament. On the other hand if Sri Lanka beat by Kenya the next match they have to play with New Zealand. As New Zealand is a strong team it should be strong to beat them. Then Sri Lanka will be out form the T20 Championship.

I think, there is no more examples I will have to be given that that match along with England is important for Australia. ICC champion Australia has been beat by Zimbabwe in the first match. If they loose the second match along with England then they have to go back.

We have to wait for that day and observe what the result come?

How Important the matches are ! Bangladesh vs West Indies, England vs Zimbabwe, India vs Scotland

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: Bangladesh vs West Indies, England vs Zimbabwe, India vs Scotland

On 13 September 2007 is the 3rd day of Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007. On that day three matches will be played between Bangladesh vs West Indies, England vs Zimbabwe, India vs Scotland. All the matches are important on that day because which will beat may out form the tournament.

For Bangladesh it is important because if they may lose they will have to out and the other team Bangladesh will play is South Africa. Isn’t important for them? On the other hand West Indies has lost against South Africa. If they lose, they will be out form the tournament.

England will have to play a match along with that ICC World Champion Australia what will the result? Although Australia is not experienced for T20 but England has a very good experience and a couple of days ago they played a long series when they show a very good performance. Before the match between England vs Australia, Australia would have played a match with Zimbabwe. If Australia beat Zimbabwe then the match between England vs Zimbabwe will be most important of each team.

On that that day the other important match between India vs Scotland. If Scotland loses they will be out because they would have to play a match with Pakistan. As Pakistan is a experienced team so it will be easy to beat Scotland. The match is most important for Scotland also India because if India lost then they have an opportunity to out. Indian will have to play the next match along with Pakistan.

So there is no argument that all matches at 13 September of Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007 are important for each team.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: Australia vs Lee’s comments

For Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007, Brett Lee is an important man for Australia team. He did not attend in the ICC Championship for his injury. With some media Lee told some lacking of his team openly. On Wed 12 Australia vs Zimbabwe at Cape Town and Fri 14 Australia vs England at Cape Town.

These comments are from 24 news "We aren't the most experienced team and there will be a bit of pressure on us, but we have to try and get into the game as quickly as possible and think on our feet, and learn as soon as we possibly can," Lee said.

"Twenty20 is a game we don't really have a lot of experience in and it's going to be a major challenge for us.

"It's the team that works out what's going on quicker than their opponents that will take out the championship."

"I think if you've got a guy who can bowl genuine pace it's an advantage."

I think Lee’s frankly words did not mean that they are weak.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: India vs Pakistan match and Analysis

In Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007, India and Pakistan team it most considered for the cricket fans of the Indian sub-continent. Large numbers of cricket fans are in this continent. Although there are another two cricket playing country already here but the match between this two countries is most excited. I am giving some valuable opinion of the fans below:

Opinion-1: I have no predictions for the Pak vs India match. They both played badly at the world cup. Their performances were about the same at the world cup (neither of them even qualified for the super8 and they were both beated by lowly ranked teams). However, Pak had more disasters than India did with regards to losing their coach. Anyway who knows what will happen this time around. Both teams should be fighting really hard and then again it's 2020 cricket!

Opinion-2: Really must say that India's T20 squad is a black box. Sometimes (actually, most of the time) I just can’t understand the BCCI. Sehwag hasn’t done anything remarkable since his exclusion from the squad and neither has Pathan. Harbhajan has done pretty well in England and I can understand him being brought back.

Sehwag being brought back just because of his reputation as a big hitter isn't enough of a reason for me personally. However, as we all know, if Sehwag is on song at the tournament, he could tear apart any attack.

Opinion-3: I think Pakistan will beat India mainly because Pakistan seems to have a better bowling attack. Also India without their top 3 batsmen could be a little shaky, for me they should have included one of them, as experience is always helpful.

Opinion-4: I think that people are over rating Pakistan's bowling lineup. It's mainly pace bowlers and I think that could be their downfall.

Pacers normally go for quite a few in T20 so it will be interesting to see if this trend carries on.

There are thousand of arguments against or favor of the two countries. It is clear form these four opinions that how favor this two teams are!

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: Pakistan vs Scotland what are the positive sides of Pakistan

12 September 2007, the second day of Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007. One of the important team of the Asia, Pakistan, is going to face with Scotland. Although some trouble was in the team on the practices time but now they are happy to call Sohail Tanvir. Pakistan captain Shoeb Malik is confidence on his team.

"We have prepared extensively for the Twenty20 but since it is a very unpredictable brand of cricket we need to be at the top in all departments of the game," said Malik, who preferred specialists in the team.

"We have a balanced outfit and there are certain players who can change the complexion of the game," said Malik, signalling out explosive opener Imran Nazir, all-rounder Shahid Afridi and express paceman Shoaib Akhtar as his key men.

"Most of the players in the side have played this format and have a good experience of it. Malik has an excellent grasp of the tactics in this format and all this will help," said Lawson,” ESPN reported.

It is clear that Malik is happy about his team performances. I think he will not less good than Shoeb Akter. Pakistan’s fans could depend on him.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: Australia vs Zimbabwe and Andrew Symonds

Second day of the Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007, world champion Australia and Zimbabwe will play at 12 September 2007 at Cape Town. There not doubt that Andrew Symonds is one of the best player of ODI and Test. In his International Twenty20 career his achievement is Pld:4 Ave: 62.50 HS: 54* Wkts: 7 Ave: 13.85 Best: 2/14. So, it is one of he positive side of Australia team among others.

David Lloyd has written that probably the best one-day cricketer in the world. He will field like a demon - nothing gets past him in the covers.

He is always worth a couple of wickets with his mixture of seam-up, little away-swingers, slower-balls and off-cutters. He is an under-rated bowler in one-day cricket.

And when he has a bat in his hands there isn't a cricket ground big enough for him. He is the complete Twenty20 cricketer. He is a colossus is that lad.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: Ponting to back for T20

At the last moment of leaving the home aim to T20 in South Africa, Australian Captain Ricky Ponting fails to join with their crew for his wife’s unexpected illness. After reaching South Africa, Australia took part in some practices matches. They beat New Zealand but lost along with South Africa. Ponting declared that he might join the T20 world cup in South Africa if his wife will come round.

THE AUSTRALIAN reported "Fortunately Rianna's health has improved over the last few days and I'm hoping travel plans can be finalised as soon as possible," Ponting said in the statement.

"I'm grateful for the support we've both had from Cricket Australia and my team-mates and in particular I'd like to thank (vice-captain) Adam Gilchrist and (coach) Tim Nielsen for their leadership roles in the early days of the Australian squad's first-ever Twenty20 international tour.

"It made things easier here knowing the team was in such good hands.

"With things on improve; Rianna and I are both keen that I now focus on the job at hand with the Australian team."

There is no doubt that Ponting is an important person of the Australian Cricket. Without him Austalia will be a boat with a rudder in South Africa on T20 world cup championship 2007.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: Pakistan has called Sohail Tanvir as Replacement for Shoaib Akter

After being misbehave with the teammate Mohammad Asif during preparations for the inaugural World Twenty20 in South Africa and sent back home. Now another left arm Sohail Tanvir has been confirmed as the replacement for Pakistan's Shoaib Akhtar for T20. The International Cricket Council's (ICC) Technical Committee has permitted Sohail Tanvir for T20.

A report was published on World Cricket that Player replacements are usually allowed if players are injured or unavailable due to personal issue, but the ICC confirmed that the exceptional circumstances surrounding Shoiab's unavailability would not mean a replacement was disallowed.

"In this case, the Technical Committee approved Shoaib's replacement on the basis of exceptional circumstances, for the following reasons: the incident and disciplinary action taken by the PCB is not related to the matches in the event; the tournament has not commenced; and there is a precedent to support the replacement," an ICC statement explained.

The incident that happened just nearly one week ago, I think it will be a big misunderstanding with the cricketers who will play on the T20 because Sohail Tanvir is most probably not experienced about Twenty20 Match. It is my opinion but the authority will think more.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship 2007: The 1st Match South Africa vs West Indies

Captain Graeme Smith led South Africa to their triumph, smashing an unbeaten 89 from 61 deliveries to steer the host nation past Australia's impressive total of 179-8.“

West Indies also played some practices matches with different country. They played a match with Pakistan and did well. So no one can think that West Indies will play less good than South Africa in the first match of the inaugural ceremony of T20 World Cup Championship.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship: Bangladesh is feeling comfortable.

Before fly away to South Africa for Twenty20 World Cup Championship, Bangladesh played a lot of practices matches. Now they are also playing worm up match with different country who will place on Twenty20 World Cup Championship. Yesterday they played match with Scotland and showed a very good performances.

This part I took form Cricket World, it reported that After the early loss of Tamim Iqbal, Nazimuddin and Aftab Ahmed shared an 86 run second wicket partnership in just 8.2 overs between them, and took the match away from Scotland. Aftab hammered 33 runs off 27 deliveries which included five boundaries before getting stumped by slow left arm bowler Lyons.

Bangladesh middle order failed to use the platform laid by Aftab and Nazimuddin and Captain Mohammad Ashraful and Shakib Al Hasan returned to the pavilion without reaching double figures. A run a ball 9 from Alok Kapali was enough to support Nazimuddin who finished the run chase with a crisp boundary.

Bangladesh fans also praying that Bangladesh Team will do well on Twenty20 World Cup Championship

Twenty20 World Cup 2007: Profiles of Indian Cricketers

For Twenty20 World Cup 2007 India has selected their team under MS Dhoni’s Captaincy. India just has finished their tour of England. Now they will fly away to South Africa for Twenty20 World Cup 2007. The players are below will take part on this tournament. The detail profile of Indian Team is below.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain)

India's new superstar, Dhoni can't get so much as a haircut without a police escort. Made captain of what looks something of a scratch side - no Dravid, Tendulkar or Ganguly - it will be a stern test of a player whose batting seems to be developing beyond the early mindless slogging. His keeping is still a cause for concern, but he could be something special.

Ajit Agarkar

Brings experience to a young bowling attack, Agarkar has almost 200 ODIs along with 26 Tests to his name. Perhaps most famous for the Test-record seven successive ducks, Agarkar would perhaps rather be remembered as the fastest man to 50 ODI wickets. The bowling has undoubtedly lost a bit of the early nip, but he remains an effective performer with both bat and ball.

Piyush Chawla

Still only 18 years old, Chawla is a legspinner of rare promise. Came to prominence by dismissing Sachin Tendulkar with a googly, and has already made his Test debut as the long-term successor to Anil Kumble. Has yet to really fire in an embryonic international career, but everything suggests Chawla - no mug with the bat either - has a stellar career ahead of him.

Gautam Gambhir

An attractive left-handed strokemaker, Gambhir has often been the victim of selectorial whimsy. Averages over 35 despite a stop-start Test career, and has two ODI tons to his name. His slight frame belies decent weight of stroke, with the carve over point a particular speciality. India's woeful showing at the World Cup in the Caribbean has earned him a second chance.

Dinesh Karthik

The wicketkeeper-turned-opening-batsman made his Test debut while still in his teens, but after a scratchy start with both bat and gloves he was jettisoned in favour of the more dynamic Dhoni. Another player to benefit from the World Cup fiasco, Karthik put his hand up to fill the problematic opener's role in the Test side and made a ton in Bangladesh before impressing in England.

Irfan Pathan

Still only 22 years old, Pathan's career has seen an astonishing rise - when touted as the all-round successor to Kapil Dev while in his teens - followed by an equally speedy descent when he was sent home from a tour to South Africa to focus on domestic cricket. First picked in his teens, his swing bowling and powerful hitting - he has been used in the top three in ODIs - suggested great things and his time will surely come again.

Yusuf Pathan

Older brother of Irfan, this will be the all-rounder's first taste of international cricket. Has a useful record in Indian domestic cricket - averaging around 30 with the bat in both forms of the game - while his offspin is also tidy. But it's his aggressive batting - he was the fastest runscorer in the 2006-07 Ranji Trophy - that has earned him his chance to don the blue shirt of India.

Virender Sehwag

Jettisoned from India's Test and one-day sides after an alarming drop in form, this competition provides a new platform for his explosive talent. Despite his drop in form, he still averages almost 50 in Test cricket and over 30 in ODIs. Scored a century on Test debut to earn comparisons with his idol Sachin Tendulkar and brought up the first triple century by an India batsman with a six. A major talent with a point to prove.

Joginder Sharma

A hard-hitting all-rounder who bowls on the brisk side of medium, Sharma is another player seemingly weighed down by inevitable comparisons to the great Kapil Dev. Despite playing only four ODIs, an average of 30 and a strike-rate of 116 show why he has been recalled for this competition, while a first-class bowling record of 184 records at better than 20s is certainly worthy of respect.

Harbhajan Singh

Still best-known for his astonishing 32 wickets against the all-conquering Aussies in 2001, a series where no other India bowler took more than three, Harbhajan remains a real force on Indian pitches, but has found things harder on his travels. The offspinner has the ability to spin the ball both ways, but his major weapon has always been the extravagant bounce he extracts from a good length.

Rohit Sharma

Twenty-year-old newcomer Sharma is a top-order batsman of great promise, but in his two ODIs to date he has had little chance to impress, not needed in a nine-wicket win over Ireland before coming in late in the piece against South Africa three days later, perishing for just eight in nine balls. But he has impressed in the under-19 World Cup and has a first-class average over 40. Also bowls offspin.

RP Singh

Impressive young left-arm quick who has all the attributes needed for an international bowler. Generates good pace from a wiry frame and swings the ball both ways. Caused England real problems from both over and round the wicket this summer, and an average around 30 in both Tests and one-dayers suggest a bowler who can go all the way. While no great technician with the bat, still capable of hitting a long ball.

Yuvraj Singh

For so long now the next big thing in Indian batting, Yuvraj has still to cement a permanent place in the Test team. But his powerful strokeplay, lifting his heavy bat high and hitting nervelessly through the line, make him a certainty in shorter forms of the game. Bowls canny left-arm spin and is dynamite in the field, especially in the critical backward-point position for the seamers.

Shanthakumaran Sreesanth

One of the game's characters. Whether busting moves to celebrate a wicket or swinging his bat round his head after hitting Andre Nel for six, the game is rarely dull when Sree's involved. Can be expensive, but his aggressive approach makes him a genuine wicket-taker capable of troubling the best with a fast, whippy action. Describes his pre-delivery psyche-up routine as "a habit... like brushing my teeth".

Robin Uthappa

Uthappa has been a consistently heavy run scorer in limited-overs cricket and has been in and out of the India one-day side. Made a cultured 86 against England in 2006, and a career ODI strike-rate of better than a run a ball suggests a player well-suited to Twenty20 cricket. Formerly a wicketkeeper, Uthappa has abandoned the gloves and now bowls a bit of medium pace.

After finishing a long tour, they are well practiced. Some of the players practices hard in their home. So India is one of the strong team in Twenty20 World Cup Championship.

Twenty20 World Cup Championship: Pakistan will perform fighting fit

A long time gap, Pakistan practiced under a new coach. After practicing some of the players declared that they enjoyed it and ready for Twenty20 World Cup Championship in South Africa. Basically Shoeb Akter articulated his opinion with the journalists although he has sent back home on for behave badly with his teammate. Pakistan’s Tewnty20 Captain Shoeb Malik is confident about his team for doing well.

Vcricket has published a long article about Pakistan’s Tewnty20 Captain Shoeb Malik’s reflection, "We have prepared extensively for the Twenty20 but since it is a very unpredictable brand of cricket we need to be at the top in all departments of the game," said Malik, who preferred specialists in the team.

"We have a balanced outfit and there are certain players who can change the complexion of the game," said Malik, signalling out explosive opener Imran Nazir, all-rounder Shahid Afridi and express paceman Shoaib Akhtar as his key men.

"I am quite happy to see their positive nature. They are keen to do well but in Twenty20 we can prepare strategies, try and find the right balance, work out plans and play any number of practice games but that can only take you so far. Until the first match happens, we won't really know what to expect."

I think Shoeb Akter’s back has disappeared strongly on the player’s mentality. Pakistan’s Tewnty20 Captain Shoeb Malik is trying to back in their concentrations with this kinds of speech.
