Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium will be a venue of World Cup Cricket 2011

ICC has approved Feroz Shah Kotla to be reinstated as international playground. The venue can host international match from January 1, 2010. After one year’s suspension the field will be alive again. ICC suspended the international status of the venue in December 2009 over a pitch fiasco made for a one day match between India and Sri Lanka.

 After the approval of ICC the remedial works are running in full swing. ICC General Manager Cricket, David Richardson expressed his satisfaction over the remedial activities and hoped that they would prepare the surface to the mark of international standard.

“Yes, the DDCA has been informed verbally by the BCCI that ICC has lifted the ban on Ferozeshah Kotla stadium. We will be getting the written report tomorrow,” DDCA secretary Sneh Bansal said.

The suspension of the venue dimmed the expectation of India to become the host of the coming World Cup Cricket to be held next year. Now the withdrawal of the suspension brings back their opportunity to become the host.

Four matches of World Cup Cricket are expected to be held in Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. The first match is on 14 February between South Africa and West Indies.

IPL season 4 to star just after time of 2011 Cricket World Cup!

The dates of Indian Premier League season 4 have been announced. IPL Governing Council has declared in a meeting that the tournament will start on April 8 next year .It is just 6 days after the conclusion of the Cricket World Cup. Question has been raised whether it will be fair for of course some of the players of the world cup cricket will take part in the IPL and it may be over bearing for them.

Low light and rain stops Sri Lanka innings

Due to low-light and rain, the test match between the host Sri Lanka and West Indies has been postponed. After the launch break, the innings of the day 3 keeps stop for a short time with the decision of the umpires for the low-light. At the end, lowlight and rain hits and the match has to keep stop.

Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakara played an important innings, scoring 73 runs. But Caribbean all-rounder Bravo sent him off the pavilion. So, at the end of day 3, Sri Lankan earnings 265 runs for 3 wickets. Mahela Jayawardene and Thilan Samaraweera scored as well as 51 and 11.

Ronaldinho to appear in the Dubai against Argentina

Guzaarish, an act of theft, plagiarism

Guzaarish now faces new acquisition. It is being talked that the screenplay of Guzaarish has been stolen from a yet to be published novel by Dayanand Raajan. And the work has been done by the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself.

It is also being said that the film is aremake of the Spanish film The Sea Inside.This film was made in 2004 on a true story of Ramdon Sampredo who was a sailor and became a quadriplegic because of an accident. In Guzaarish. Hrithik will be seen as a magician in a wheelchair who also becomes paraplegic as a result of a magic trick going wrong.

But both the director Bansali and his lead actor Hrithik Roshan strongly refute the acquisition. Hrithik refuses the acquisition of plagiarism and says that it is just a rumor. And as people will see me in a wheelchair they, very usually draw a resemblance between me in wheelchair and other character in wheelchair.

But the new acquisition of plagiarism is not quite baseless. We will not be unfair in our acquisition as we see Bansali’s Black was inspired by The Miracle Worker, and his 'Saawariya' was partly based on a Russian short story 'White Nights’. There must have at least some resemblance to The Sea Inside.
