Arsenal appeared with the same dominating form in the second half as well, but could not continue the same pace for a long time. May be, the midweek journey to Kiev started taking toll from Arsenal team. However, if Arsenal did not miss too many chances, the winning margin could have been bigger. Coming off the bench in place of Bendtner, Theo Walcott boosted up Arsenal attack and Arsenal ensured three points from the match when Denilson scored the third goal for Arsenal just five minutes from the time.

With this victory Arsenal reached at the top of the table with 12 points from five matches, two points ahead of Chelsea who can retain the top place with a victory over Manchester United on Sunday.

Michelle Wie obtains fourth position qualifies to play in the final round

Female American golfer, Michelle Wie, obtained fourth position in the ongoing LPGA Tour’s sectional qualifying school. Now, she is going to compete in final round of qualifying in December. canada.com reports:

Wie shot a 1-under-par 71 on the Dinah Shore course at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. She finished at 8-under 280 for the week, eight strokes behind winner Sun-Ju Ahn of South Korea, who shot a 4-under 68 yesterday.

Swedish player Anna Nordqvist acquired second position. Two Canadian players- Angela Buzminski, and Lisa Meldrum were also among the 32 players who advanced in final qualifying round which will be held in Florida December 3 to 7.
