Canon Introduces Four New Models Under PowerShot Line

Canon has introduced four new camera models under its PowerShot line and the new models will reportedly go on sale in October with prices ranging from $299.99 to $499.99. The four new models are: G10, the SX10 IS, SD990 IS and SD880 IS- which have different features and price tags. Cannon PowerShot G10 replaces G9. The new flagship model for Canon PowerShot, G10 comes with 3.0-inch LCD display and offers 28mm wide-angle lens, 5x optical zoom, 14.7 megapixel sensor. Optical Image Stabilization is available in all four models of PowerShot line.

SX10 model offers 8mm - 560mm (35mm format equivalent) wide-angle lens with 20x optical zoom, featuring 10 megapixel sensor as well as 2.5-inch LCD display. Another attractive feature of Canon PowerShot SX10 is its ‘MovieSnap’ mode by which users can record video while capturing still images. You have to cost $399.99 for owning a SX10 model.

The new offers of Canon PowerShot line are seen in SD990 IS and SD880 IS models- the two Digital Elph models. With 14.7 megapixel resolution, SD990 IS offers 3.7x optical zoom, besides a “Quick Shot” mode enabling faster shutter speed. A price tag of $399.9 is attached with Canon PowerShot SD990. Then Cannon PowerShot SD880 IS comes with 4x wide-angle optical zoom and features a 10 megapixel sensor. It has a 3.0-inch LCD display on the back and comes in two-toned black and silver body. Nikon D90 D-SLR Camera review, with HD Video

Camera giant Company Nikon is going to launch D90 DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) Camera on September 2008. They are claiming that it is the SLR camera that can be used for high quality video with AVI mood. They are not only focusing on video but also to still image. It is totally different form others DSLR camera even it can take a good quality image than a Camcorder in different mood.

But the feature Nikon is touting with this latest camera is the addition of D-Movie mode, which lets users create HD movie clips with sound from the D90. The camera can film 1,280-by-720-pixel movies at 24 frames per second in motion JPEG format. The video mode only allows manual focus. Users can capture video using any D90-compatible lens. The D90 also shoots video at 320-by-216 and 640-by-424 resolutions.

The 12.3-megapixel Nikon D90 D-SLR Camera will full-fill all expectations of the journalists or who uses camera for their creative works. Nikon D90 in a live view mode on 3-inch LCD display.
