High security during the Asia Cup 2008

For the security question Australia abundant their tour during the March-April 2008. That is why Pakistan Cricket Board and ACC are in high thought about this matter during the Asia Cup 2008. The ninth Asia Cup is going to commence on 24 June 2008.

AFP Reported "Everything is in order and we are satisfied with the security arrangements made by Pakistan. We hope that the event will be held in a befitting manner," ACC chief executive Ashraful Huq told. "Awards will be given to top Asian cricketers and administrators of the past and present to mark the occasion and for this a four-member committee has also been formed," said Huq.

The Asian Cricket Council assure all about the high security during the Asia Cup 2008 that is going to host Pakistan Cricket Board. After the election and the condition of the country before the country the security question come to front seriously.

The Time Schedule and Fixture of Asia Cup 2008

The in augural match of the forthcoming Asia Cup 2008 will commence on from 24 June 2008 at Lahore in Pakistan. From 24 June 2008 the Cricket fans of Asia who are living all over the Glob will enjoy the match especially the Matches between India and Pakistan most among the other matches. Here I just have given a timetable of GMT but all the matches will be commence on at 11:00 am.

Now India and Pakistan is exciting for the upcoming Tri-Nation Tournament that will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Just after a few days another awaited tournament between the Asian Countries called Asian Cup 2008 is going to hold. All the matches will be hosted by Pakistan in to cities Karachi and Lahore.

The 2008 season is full of cricket because a big cricket tournament called IPL T20 just have finished. After a week another tournament Tri-Nation Tournament and in the end of June a big tournament Asia Cup 2008 will be run till the first week of July.

In the tournament Asia Cup 2008 two new countries United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong are doing to doubt with Asia Cup 2008. Although I have no good idea about United Arab Emirates but a little bit Hong Kong cricket. 13 matches will be played among 6 teams from the two groups. In the first qualified round the three team will be faced each other to be qualified for the second round. From Group-A and Group-B two teams will be qualified from each groups. The four teams will be played another qualified round each other and two teams will get pass for the final match.

All the matches will be held as a day-night match. Now it is the hot season in this area. May be this is the main cause to be held. According to GMT the match timetable will be 6:00. So a good number of cricket fans could miss the first innings who are living in the European Countries. Similarly the fans who are in the American continent will miss all the matches.

India vs Pakistan in Tri-Nation ODI Tournament

The Tri-Nation ODI series will be commenced on form 8 June 2008 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. India and Pakistan will share the tournament with the host Bangladesh. All the four matches’ venue has been selected as Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.

The Matches between India vs Pakistan are always arch-rival. After the home series India is going to meet against Pakistan Team in Bangladesh. Although Pakistan invited India to play some single ODI matches after the Australia tour but BCCI has denied the offer because of player’s condition about rest.

So it has passes a long time that the cricket fans did not watch any match for a long time. Now the players and the fans of the both countries are waiting for the tournament.

During the home series India beat Pakistan seriously and also in the Twenty20 Championship tournament. In the tournament India will try to hold its victory and Pakistan will try to take revenge by beating India.

Form the Bangladesh fans Pakistan will get a lot of support both in the stadium and out of stadium too. So it is very positive side to make mentally strong. Although Pakistan did not show very positive performance in Bangladesh against India but they will try to do well.

Indian Squad for Tri-Nation ODI Tournament

A 15-member squad has been announced for the forthcoming Tri-Nation Tournament from the ICCI authority. In the declared squad Indian most of the stars players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav is not called for the Tri-Nation Tournament.

The performance at the Indian Premier League has changed all thought of the selection board of India. May this is the first time after Twenty20 World Championship; India has announced their squad without some star players.

Pathan brother has done well in the IPL tournaments and has been allowed to play the Tri-Nation Series in Bangladesh from 8 June 2008. Two spinners Pyush Chawla and Pragyan Ojha have taken place in the 15 men squad.

MS Dhoni will lead the ODI squad during the Tri-Nation ODI tournament as usual. Most important thing is that Indian has secured more accomplishment from Dhoni’s leadership.

According the the board, they have been selected for their excellent performance in the Indian Premier League while Dinesh Karthik and Munaf Patel failed to get the selectors confidence.

The Indian squad consists of Mahinder Singh Dhoni (captain), Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Yousuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Sreesanth, Ishanth Sharma, Praveen Kumar, RP Singh, Pyush Chawla and Pragyan Ojha.

Rajasthan Royals got victory in IPL T20

After passing a suffocating moment Rajasthan Royals has got victory by 3 wickets. This is a great victory for the team. By beating Chennai Super Kings Rajasthan Royals achieve the trophy of the Indian Premier League.

Rajasthan Royals played well form the very beginning. It just lost 2 matches and everything was the positive side of the tournament. The Captain Shane Warne’s role was very constructive that inspire all the players all time.

Fixture and Timetables of Tri-Nation Tournament ODI

BCCI and BCB already have announced the upcoming Tri-Nation Tournament ODI. The tournament will be taken place form 8 June 2008. Three nation of the Asia is going to take part. Here is a complete fixture of the Tri-Nation Tournament. Bangladesh is the host country for 2008. Three nations including Bangladesh, India and Pakistan is the other team of tournament.

In the Tri-Nation Tournament four matches will be played in two parts. One is qualified round and other is final. Bangladesh, India and Pakistan all will play each other in the qualified round and after the three matches two team will be selected according to the point table.

All the matches of the Tri-Nation Tournament (ODI) have been arranged at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur Dhaka. The timetable or time schedule is showing in the fixture is IST but the local time will be 8:30 (BST) and for the Pakistan the time will be 9:30 PST. But for the latitude and longitude situation the timetable will be changed.
