Bangladesh Team for Twenty20 World Cup

Bangladesh announced the 15 man squad for the Twenty20 cricket World Championships. In the inaugural ceremony, the will be leaded by Mohammad Ashraful. Mohammad Rafique and Javed Omar have kept out from the announced team and Junaid Siddique, Mohammad Nazimuddin, Nadif Chowdhury and Ziaur Rahman are newly added.

AP reported about, Bangladesh has been drawn with hosts South Africa and the West Indies in group A of the preliminary league with the top two qualifying for the Super Eights round.

The 12-team tournament features the nine nation’s currently playing Test cricket along with Zimbabwe, Kenya and Scotland.

Twenty20 World Cup : Non-experienced Indian Team

I don’t know how India is accepting the which will take place from 11 September in South Africa. Now, Indian team is playing 6match ODI with England. Before they played three matches test series after finishing this series they will play Twenty20 World Cup then they will play a series with Australia too. Without rest will it fall any pressure on India team?

Another thing is that all of the player who are going to play the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup are all less than 22 except Yuvraj. But his performance was not good in the last ICC Championship Trophy. So, how Indian is depending on this young a non-experienced team?

Uthappa, in his first game, overhauled Yuvraj’s highest score by a debutant for India. After a lacklustre World Cup in the Caribbean, the Karnataka opener has been lying low. His 55 against Scotland in the one-off one-dayer was a relatively sedate affair when looked at in context of his 100-plus strike rate. Uthappa has wisely taken time to get his eye in before playing the big shots.

Sharma has played just two one-dayers so far. He remains the only Indian batsman to have a Twenty20 century to his name. He is considered the brightest batting talent emerging from Mumbai, since one Sachin Tendulkar. In the domestic circuit he has made the runs. He will now have to take the next big step.

I think India is not taking the Twenty20 World Cup seriously. Or they are thinking the team is appropriate for the championship. In the other hand, they can think for the next series with Australia.

Pakistan Team is practicing for the Twenty20 World Cup

Pakistan cricket team has started their new practices session under their new coach Geoff Lawson. Geoff Lawson was the former Australian paceman. Pakistan team is taking preparations for next month's inaugural Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa.

He brushed aside news that four Pakistani players -- Inzamam-ul Haq, Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Yousuf and Imran Farhat -- had defected to a breakaway Indian league.

"Whatever happens, the players who turn up will count for me and not the ones who go and do something else," Lawson said.

Both Lawson and Dwyer are on two-year contracts.

Pakistan will fly out to Kenya on Aug. 28, where they feature in a four-nation Twenty20 tournament involving the hosts, Bangladesh and United Arab Emirates

A few days back, an advertisement of Liver Brothers (now Uniliver) was seen in Bangladeshi electronic media. The AD shows that few people are sitting in a program and a magical box is sent to everyone. The condition is that every one has to pick up a piece of paper from that box and work according to the task written on that paper. Anyway, after roaming around, the box reaches to a calm and cool girl sitting over there. A paper is picked up. According to the task given in the paper, the girl is asked to dance. However, her expression was like that she did not dance ever and does not know how to dance. But she has to do the task according to the direction of the paper. At last, being little scared and nervous, the girl dances smartly and impressed the audience and got claps from audience.

Razzaq’s Retirement from International Cricket

Abdul Razzaq, who is one of successful all-rounder in Pakistan Cricket Team, has played 46 tests and 231 one-day internationals in his international cricket career, announced for retirement to remonstration Pakistan Cricket Board's indifferent thoughts.

"They dropped me from the Twenty20 World Cup squad and I was very upset and disappointed. But none of them bothered to call me up and tell me why I was dropped," the 27-year-old Razzaq said.

"Their attitude has hurt and disappointed me a lot which is why I have decided to retire from international cricket," he added.
