According to the observation of UK based newspaper Eastern Eye’s, Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has been named the sexiest woman. She had beat other top to Indian sexiest women in India include Aishwarya Rai.

The other Bollywood actresses who made it to the top 10 positions are Aishwarya Rai, voted as the fourth sexiest Asian woman and Shilpa Shetty, who came in sixth followed by Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Lara Dutta. The public voted for those they thought were the sexiest Asian women from a list of 100 names published in the newspaper and on its website. The chairman of the judges' panel was Eastern Eye's show business editor Asjad Nazir.

Other Asian women in the Top Ten include Aishwarya Rai at No 4, Laila Rouass (5), Shilpa Shetty (6), Katrina Kaif (7), Kareena Kapoor (8), Lara Dutta (9) and Pakistani-based model and actress Iman Ali at No 10. This is the third year that the newspaper is publishing a list of the 50 Sexiest Asian Women in the World

Commenting on Bipasha Basu Hamant Verma, editor of Eastern Eye and the founder of its Sexiest Asian Women List, said: "Bipasha is a living embodiment of sexual attractiveness. Her acting ability, beauty and charm are capable of arousing great interest in her from the world's media."

According to Sahara Samay, The campaign for the new variant, which features Priyanka, was Indianised from an Argentinean campaign, known as Lux Neon Girl, that has won many creative accolades.

The campaign, which has a neon theme, began with Priyanka unveiling a stunning 30-feet neon hoarding of herself with the Lux Crystal Shine. The hoarding, one of the largest in Mumbai, has been placed at Cadell Road.

Bollywood Music awards 2007: A R Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik and Alisa Chinoy
