AR Rahman the 3rd Oscar winner of India

A R Rahman is considered one of the best music composer of India. He has an enormous contribution in the Indian music. He has a lot of extraordinary movement that has pushed and considered as outstanding music creators. I am a big fan of A R Rahman and like most all of his songs. He also presented the old lyrics by adding new rhythm.

The 43-year-old composer, hailed in India as the Mozart of the Madras, won Oscars on Sunday for best original score and song, both from the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'. "I was excited and terrified," the soft-spoken Rahman said as he collected his first Oscar, for best original score. "The last time I felt like that was during my marriage."

He is the third man who has rewarded Oscars as an Indian. The pioneers Bhanu Athaiya who has awarded Oscar for Gandhi and Satyajit Ray achievement award in 1992.

Sonam Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan in Dilli6 and next with Hrithik Roshan

Sonam Kapoor is the daughter of Bollywood every green superstar Anil Kapoor. She is new comer in the film industry. Her first acted film is Saawariya, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and her opposition artist was Ranbir Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor acted 2^nd film Dilli6 will be released on 20 February 2009. The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mhera. 

In Dilli6, Abhishek Bachchan is her co-actor. Although Sonam Kapoor’s first film Saawariya didn’t successful in Bollywood but we are waiting to see how much the next movie Dilli6 will be. 

As an actor, Abhishek Bachchan has more experienced than Sonam Kapoor and he is a successful actor in Bollywood. 

Abhishek Bachchan acted as Roshan and Sonom Kapoor as Bittu. Besides other actors and actresses are Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni, Rishi Kapoor, Waheeda Rahman, Divya Dutta, Tanvi Azmi. 

The songs of Dilli6 are directed by A.R Rahman, recently who has got a prestigious Golden Global award. The songs titles are Masakalli,  Arziyan, Noor, Delhi-6, Rehna Tu, Hey Kaala Bandar, Dil Gira Dafatan, Genda Phool, Bhor Bhaye, Aarti (Tumre Bhavan Mein). There are 10 songs in the forthcoming film. Artists of song are Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali, Kailash Kher, Amitabh Bachchan, Blaaze, Benny Dayal, Vivianne Chaix, Tanvi Shah, Claire, A. R. Rahman, Karthik, Naresh Iyer, Srinivas, Bony Chakravarthy, Ash King, Chinmayee, Rekha Bhardwaj, Shraddha Pandit, Sujata Mazumdar, V.N. Mahathi, Shreya Ghoshal, Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Gujri Todi, Kishori Ashok. 

As a third pair Sonam Kapoor will act with Hrithik Roshan. It will be directed by Rakesh Roshan. Although Director Rakesh Roshan selected Deepika Padukone for his next film opposite Hrithik Roshan but later has change his mind and seems Sonam Kapoor will be perfect for the next film opposition Hrithik Roshan. 

Although Sonam Kapoo and Ranbir Kapoor’s first film Saawariya didn’t hit successful in bollywood but their dramatic performance admiration most. After release Dilli6 we could look Sonam Kapoor’s next performance. 

As Sonam Kapoor’s next film is Hrithik Rosgan, she will get a good chance to build up her career to setup herself in a strong position in bollywood because till now the films directed by Rakesh Roshan has become super hit in Bollywood film industry like Kaho naa… pyaar Hai, Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish etc. So we can say easily that it is a great opportunity for Sonam Kapoor to build up her career.

Bollywood Music awards 2007: A R Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik and Alisa Chinoy

Famous music director A R Rahman, renowned playback singers Sonu Nigam and prominent singer Alka Yagnik achieved the popular Bollywood Music and fashion Awards 2007 at a sparkling function held at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday. Rahman has wined the Best Music Director Award for his film Guru and Sonu Nigam was given the Best Male Singer Award for his song Kabh Alvida Naa Kahna. Both the Bollywood celebrities were presented the award in abstention.

Famous Bollywood singer, Alisa Chinoy, has achieved two awards – the Best Female Singer and the Best Song of the Year. Alisa achieved the Best Singer Award for her song “Its Rocking” in the film Kya Love Story Hai. The song “Its Rocking” got the best song of the year.

Acclaimed Sunnet Verma was given the best fashion designer awardof the year.

The Bollywood Music and Fashion Award are given only for Bollywood and Indian music and fashion industry in the USA.

The best awards of the occasion were Bhangra Artist (Jazzy for B-Romeo), Best Remix Album (DJ Sanj for Block Party), Best Pop Artist (Jay Sean for Ride It) and Best Dance Video (Bilz for 2 Step Bhangra).

The occasion was noticeable by the celebrities Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy.
