Slumdog Millionaire-Oscar-D Lit and A. R. Rahman

Slumdog Millionaire is a million dollar budgeted film that was base on a British story and striating in two language English and Hindi.   Danny Boyle and Loveleen Tandan detected film’s music was composed by Indian popular and praiseworthy composer A. R. Rahman. In the recent declared Oscar of 2009, he achieved two awards. He was praised in India as well as all over the world. The movie Slumdog Millionaire achieved 10 Oscars this year among them two was for A. R. Rahman. 

At the time of receiving Oscars his wife Saira Banu was beside him and some of bollywood superstars also present at the awards giving ceremony. The Queen of Singer Lata Mangeshkar, Voice of the Millennium praised highly and congratulated him. 

After winning Oscars, now Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is going to title A. R. Rahman a doctorate degree. 

"We have decided to celebrate Rahman's Oscar victory by presenting him the doctorate degree at the upcoming annual convocation to be organised on the campus on March 25,"

AR Rahman the 3rd Oscar winner of India

A R Rahman is considered one of the best music composer of India. He has an enormous contribution in the Indian music. He has a lot of extraordinary movement that has pushed and considered as outstanding music creators. I am a big fan of A R Rahman and like most all of his songs. He also presented the old lyrics by adding new rhythm.

The 43-year-old composer, hailed in India as the Mozart of the Madras, won Oscars on Sunday for best original score and song, both from the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'. "I was excited and terrified," the soft-spoken Rahman said as he collected his first Oscar, for best original score. "The last time I felt like that was during my marriage."

He is the third man who has rewarded Oscars as an Indian. The pioneers Bhanu Athaiya who has awarded Oscar for Gandhi and Satyajit Ray achievement award in 1992.
