There has been made many big budgeted movies in Bollywood with some multi-starrer celebrity. So the year 2007 can be remembered for over budget movies and multi starrer. Mainly the year will be memorable because of improve movie quality, box office hit disaster, improving appearance of child’s film, carrier ups and down of stars, blockbuster hit of different movies, flop movies, various controversies etc.

The movies Om Shanti Om and Saawariya which realized in the first week of November, both were big budget movies and were released in the seem day. The movie Saawariya directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, produced under famous Sony picture banner, acted by the two new comers Robin Kpoor and Sonam Kapoor,on the other hand Om Shanti Om is acted by Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan's and new comer other new comer Dipika Padukone. After release of both the movies there has been a controversy among all movie fans with this tow movies that which will be blockbuster super hit. While the movies are fighting in hall ground by ticket and other side there going silent battle between noted director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, director of Saawariya and Farah Khan, director of Om Shanti Om behind off-screen. These two movies have broken all the records of Bollywood in promotion value and have come business success movie.

But till now, ‘Om Shanti Om’, acted by Shah Rukh Khan has remained in the top position among the hit movies in box office and it broke all the records in the upcoming weeks. His other movie - Chak De! India, directed by Shimit Amin that has remained in top the list of the year's blockbusters.
