Rishi Kapoor confirmed at the Zee Cine Awards that his son Ranbir Kapoor will make his debut with Sonam Kapoor under Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is titled Saawariya and is due for release in late 2007. She also assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the making of Black (2005).

SONAM KAPOOR’s debut in Saawariya is perhaps the most anticipated launch of any talent in the recent years. Her pedigree comes from her father Anil Kapoor, who happens to be one of the most established and decorated actors in Indian Cinema.
