Shah Rukh Khan will be honored by French government

"Entertainment is something where one cannot be selfish, as it is purely for others," the bollywood superstar shah Rukh Khan said after receiving the award. Sunday night he was award the impressive "Insignia of Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters" by the French government. French Embassy along with Unifrance, an organisation that promotes French cinema worldwide, kicked off with the premiere of "Asterix at the Olympic Games" organized the film festival. The Order of Arts et Lettres created in 1957 is one of the four Ministerial Honours of the French Republic. It established to reward artists who have contributed to promote the field of arts and literature.

The French ambassador to India, Jerome Bonnafont, conferred the title on Shah Rukh after the inauguration of the first 'Rendezvous with French Cinema' festival at Andheri, a northwestern suburb of Mumbai.

The film festival organised by the French Embassy along with Unifrance, an organisation that promotes French cinema worldwide, kicked off with the premiere of "Asterix at the Olympic Games".

Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss has appealed to Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan to stop smoking in movies as millions of youngsters emulate them and imbibe the bad habit.

"I have already made appeals to Shah Rukh Khan," Ramadoss said in Karan Thapar's Devil's Advocate programme being aired on CNN-IBN Sunday.

"But I would be happy to do it again and say, 'Please don't smoke in your movies, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan'. I would like to make an appeal to Mr. Shah Rukh Khan and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and all the other personalities.

"Fourteen-year-olds are taking to tobacco. India should be very, very concerned about the alarming rise of incidence of tobacco (use) amongst young people," the minister emphasised.

Criticising movies with smoking scenes, the minister said: "The movies are most responsible (for encouraging smoking). When I said movies should not have smoking scenes, we have statistics which show that 52 percent of children have their first puff of a cigarette because of movie celebrities."

When asked about Shah Rukh smoking during a recent cricket match, Ramadoss said the actor should not have done it.

"Absolutely not. What was the necessity? See these are celebrities and millions of youngsters look up to these celebrities...I again say to celebrities, in whichever field they are, whether it's movies or sports, not to do these things in public."

Responding to a question if Shah Rukh and Amitabh could stop smoking like Tamil superstar Rajnikant, the minister said: "Easily, they could do it. Without a doubt."

Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan is in Aditya Chopra’s Film

Both Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are popular actors in bollywood film industry. The twice acted together in the super hit family film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gaum’ and got more box-office hit. They will act in the Aditya Chopra’s film again. So the fans of both actors will see them together in the screen. Following the poor showing of the films produced under his banner in 2007 producer Aditya Chopra is pulling out all stops and rolling up his sleeves to direct his own film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles.

Since he built his formidable reputation directing romantic films, Aditya is sticking with the genre but his new film will be laced with action and humor.

Chopra who is currently readying the final draft of the film hopes to start pre-production work in March so as to start wielding the megaphone by June - July.

Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta are supposed to be select for the next venture. They film will be shout in Greece Australia and Dubai.

Bollywood superstar's Statue in Madame Tussad Museum

At first, Salman wasn’t consent about the proposal to substitute his wax figure in Madame Tussad museum. But, why was he disagree, it didn’t know. However, at last he was consent and was present in the inaugural function.

The wax replica’s worth is about Rs. 1.62 crore. To build the replica, it has needed 12 weeks and five artists. The people those who have seen the replica say that Salman’s figure has made as extraordinary resemblance with him. Special wax and silicon-like materials has been used to make the figure. The sculptors have worked extra time to give original face and size of Salman.

According to the museum source, the wax replica Salman’s will not be showcased bare-chested. The authority revealed that the brawny star’s wax will be pleased besides of New Bollywood area where the other three Bollywood superstars – big b Amitabh Bachchan, heart throb heroin Aishwarya Rai and popular hero Shah Rukh Khan.

Beating nine Indian stars, including Madhuri Dixit and Abhishek Bachcahn, Salman Khan became winner by a public poll in August last year for pleased wax replica in Madame Tussad museum. Salman was winner getting over 10000 votes.

The movies Om Shanti Om and Saawariya which realized in the first week of November, both were big budget movies and were released in the seem day. The movie Saawariya directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, produced under famous Sony picture banner, acted by the two new comers Robin Kpoor and Sonam Kapoor,on the other hand Om Shanti Om is acted by Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan's and new comer other new comer Dipika Padukone. After release of both the movies there has been a controversy among all movie fans with this tow movies that which will be blockbuster super hit. Shah Rukh Khan will act as a super villain in 'Krrish 2

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is supposed to play a super villain in ‘Krrish 2’. He was acted as a villain in the previous two Bollywood film such as anti-hero roles in the big hits, Darr and Baazigar, where he got more popularity. Now it is a burning question that will he get this kinds of support from the fans.

Many years later, he tried to play a negative character again, in Farhan Akhtar's Don. But the film did not do as well as was expected from an SRK Diwali release.

Now, the actor is all set to play an out-and-out negative character in Krrish [Images] 2.

‘Krrish’ director Rakesh Roshan is thinking to select Shah Rukh Khan as the super hero for Krrish 2. Rukh Khan is also interested and has asked for to know detailed narration of the script. Although Krrish was directed by Rakesh Roshan, but Krrish 2 will be directed by Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra.

Krrish 2 seems to be getting bigger every day. We hear that Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra and not Rakesh Roshan will be directing the sequel to Hrithik's last blockbuster.

The villain in the film will have superpowers, just like Krrish has and the film will be about the clash of these two superpowers. Rakyesh Mehra has already met Shah Rukh who for the same.

Naseeruddin Shah was the villain in the film Krrish. But in Krrish 2 villain will be owner of super power. I have quote this line, "This time the anti-hero will be as powerful as the hero. See, 'Krrish' saw the birth of the superhero. Now we'll see the superhero combating other forces," Rakesh Roshan told IANS.

Shah Rukh Khan has a strong schedule with Karan Johar's My Name is Khan, and another film Don 2. So he has no time to work with others in the next year.

One of the reasons why Shah Rukh could be interested in doing Krrish 2 could be because his production company Red Chillies Entertainment has one of the finest SFX team in the country. Having declined to produce south director Shankar's Robot, the team must be on the lookout for another film that is heavy on special effects, as Krrish 2 will have to be.

The most important news is that Deepika Padukone will participate in the film Krrish 2 in the opposite Hrithik Roshan. But she strongly told that she would not work in Krrish 2.Deepika Padukone

Yesterday, I watched ZEE News and saw the Indian captain Dhani with a bollywood actress. I felt interest to know the matter but fail because I was at the end of news. Anyway I could know that it was Dhoni but could not know the lady. Today I become sure that that the beautiful lady was Deepika Padukone. Dear readers, I thing you all have known what is the incident. The matter is, India captain keens to act in bollywood film.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, 26, has apparently been smitten by Bollywood maiden Deepika Padukone. According to the TOI, the wicket keeper batsman has been inquiring about the 21-year-old Bollywood debutante from his journalist friends.

Dhoni recently requested Shah Rukh Khan for a special screening of Om Shanti Om, the film with which Deepika is set to make her Bollywood debut on November 9.

Our advice to Ranbir Kapoor would be to not worry too much. For one, it is Dhoni who is interested in Deepika not Saif Ali Khan!
