Pakistan vs South Africa Test & ODI: Younis is trying to lead Pakistan on the way

In the first innings of the first test of the ongoing series holds the rudder of the Pakistan team which will help to boost the team performances for the second test. Althouthg he did not do any remarkable runs but in the second innings he has hold the leading position. I think it mentality will drive the Pakistan in a strong position and other flock will go through this way too. Pakistan has reached to 146 at the end of the for Younis Khan’s unmovable Younis Khan Mentality.

Pakistan were inspired by a fiery unbeaten 93 from Younis Khan as they chased a record South African target featuring Jacques Kallis's second successive century in the first Test here on Thursday.

Pakistan, facing a world record chase of 424 runs, finished the fourth day on 146-3 with nightwatchman Mohammad Asif on one, needing another 278 runs to win the Test in the remaining 90 overs on Friday.

Just when Younis and Faisal Iqbal (44) threatened the tourists with a solid 114-run stand for the third wicket, left-arm spinner Paul Harris dismissed Iqbal with three overs to go to set up an intriguing last day.

It is impossible to hold the match for one. But Younis is trying hardly to drawn or hole the from serious beat.

Pakistan Vs South Africa Test & ODI: Mohammed Yousuf will play in the 2nd test

Mohammed Yousuf is one of the dependable and efficient batsmen. He is not playing the first test along with South Africa in the home series because of his injury. How he is hopping that he will play on the second test on 08 Oct 2007 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

"I haven't practiced for the last two months and I told the selectors yesterday that I won't be playing in the first test," Yousuf told reporters.

"I have no injury, but I felt I was not match fit," he added.

"I have not received any document from the ICL and I just opted out of the first test on match fitness," he said.

"Selectors did not ask me about my match fitness when they announced the squad.

"During nets yesterday I felt I needed some more time before I should play in the test matches."

Meanwhile, he has got read up form the injury. He did not join the Twenty20 World cup last month too. No doubt that he is like a rudder of Pakistan batting line up. After his joint, it will be stronger.

ODI and Test series Pakistan vs South Africa: Who are in South Africa team? South Africa has announces a squad of 14 members. Where, the selection board had included the name of Jacques Kallis who was not in the Twenty20 squad. Anyway, during the tour of Pakistan the team will be lead by Graeme Smith as usual. To forget the painful defeat, they will play a remarkable series during the tour of Pakistan. There is no doubt that South Africa is a strong team in all parts batting bowling and fielding.

The Telegraph reported that Jacques Kallis has been recalled to the South Africa squad for the Test series in Pakistan in October, adds a report from Durban.

Kallis was left out of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup squad and reacted to his omission by resigning as vice-captain, saying he was considering his options. South Africa coach Mickey Arthur said Herschelle Gibbs would return to the top of the order in Pakistan. South Africa will play five ODIs in Pakistan after the two Tests.

Although South Africa beat in the super eight of inaugural ceremony of Twenty20 but in this team have some strong batsmen and bowler too. Such as Graeme Smith, Mark Boucher, Herschelle Gibbs, Jacques Kallis.
