Pakistan vs Australia 4th ODI 2009: bowling pitch and batting trouble preview

The result of 3^rd ODI between Pakistan and Australia went on the guest and are leading the five-match series. By wining the 2^nd match the Aus make the series ties and the third match pushed up them to take the series wins. The 4^th ODI will be held in the same ground and if Pakistan wants to win the series then they have to win in both matches. So, this is the must-win match to level the series. Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi is very important for the Pakistan. Pakistan is desperate to take the win over the world Champions. This is very prestigious series in UAE because they are getting most supports.

 

The result of the previous matches that was held at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi disappointed all the cricket fans of Pakistan because Australia won that toss and elected to bat first but they could not able to add more than 198 runs from 50 overs to make as strong challenge. Although it seems very short score, was difficult to overtake.

 

Losing early wickets, Australia fall in big trouble but all-rounder MJ Clarke’s passionate batting and with the assist of CJ Ferguson the guest could reach to 198. Umar Gul was the main arms to close the innings earlier. Pakistan started very well depending on Salman Butt and Ahmed Shehzad batting but Clarke and Hauritz’s aggressive bowing wiped out all the hopes from the Pakistan camp. No batsmen could reach in the double figure except Shoaib Malik who scored 30 runs.

West Indies vs England 1st ODI: Batting side of both sides

Once-up-on a time, West Indies and England was the best cricket plying country in the world. No doubt that that was their golden age in cricket history.  The Test series was totally favored of the host. West Indies went on the as the series leaders by winning the first test. It is very easy to say that the batsmen of both team presented a stable batting except in the second innings of the first test. During the tours England had to face another lowest score in cricket history against West Indies.

 

After 15 years England had to face another lowest score in West Indies, in 1994 they scored jut 46 runs at Sabina Park. The English men scored just 46 runs in an innings and it is the lowest score of the duo. WI scored 47 at Kingston on 11 Mar 2004 and now England is in 3^rd position by scoring 51 runs and it was England’s 2^nd lowest totals in an innings against West Indies. The tour did not show only lowest score but presented some highest total score too. West Indies’ 749 and England 600 was 3^rd and 10^th highest totals in an innings.

 

The five matches test series was full of batting success. More that 17 hundreds came from the both batting sides, when England’s batsmen achieved 9 hundreds as well as 7 from WI side. RR Sarwan was the most successful batsmen who bagged 3 hundreds including one double. Most probably it is the tour in cricket history that presents more centuries. RR Sarwan also named in the most runs in a series by scoring 626 runs and average is 104.33. AJ Strauss from England also bagged 3 hundreds in the series.
