Habibul Bashar wants to turn back in Sri Lanka tour

The next target is to show a good performance in the next matches in Sri Lanka. Habibul Bashar is thinking about his career because last matches with India, he did not show his as usual performances.

Cricketworldcuplatest reported:

"I am not concerned about my career and right at the moment my main objective is to score runs as much as I can. The one-day series is not in my mind because I am only focusing on the Test series. I know how difficult the condition is but I am very confident," he added.

Meanwhile, when Bangladesh toured Sri Lanka last in 2005 they were wiped out in both the Test and the ODI series, but Bashar reckons things could go a bit differently this time around: "I must say that the boys are now more confident.”

Basher is not only thinking about his career but also thinking about all.

Fighting between troops and Tamil Tiger rose. The officials assure Bangladesh team that they will protected highly during the match time. Bangladesh is going to play a three tests and three ODI from 17 June.

The Daily Times reported:

“My ministry has already got in touch with the ministry of foreign affairs on this,” Lokuge told AFP. The minister was responding to a reported circular issued by the Bangladeshi government advising its officials to avoid visiting Sri Lanka, even in transit, following escalation of the conflict on the island. Lokuge insisted that Colombo was safe and the government would ensure the safety of the visiting team. South African cricketers abandoned their tour of Sri Lanka last year when suspected Tamil Tiger rebels carried out a car bomb attack near the team hotel that killed four people.
