Miss India 2009: Pooja Chopra, Ekta Chowdhry and Shriya Kishore hold title

Pune girl Pooja Chopra has been title of the Miss India 2009, Ekta Chowdhry, Miss India Universe 2009 and Shriya Kishore, Miss India Earth 2009. Among them Pooja Chopra will represent India in next Miss World. In 2008, Parvathi Omanakuttan represented India in Miss World 2008 and achieved the Miss World 2008 runnerup title. 20 contestants took parts in the semifinal round. 

 

No doubt that beauty pageant is a big business all over the world. May be in India it is the most popular events. Even most of the India girls like to keep themselves fairness. Alex Da Silva Hollywood choreographer arrested for rape

Alex Da Silva is a Brazil born choreographer and dancer who introduced Salsa dancing “LA Style”, won the World Salsa Dancing Championships in 2002 and 2007. He is also known for guest choreographer on the Fox TV show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. Recently, he has been arrested for occurrences which he has been continued for last 6 years. He was teaching students Salsa dancing. Four students accused him for rape.

They said that the four vicitims were all students of Da Silva at the time of the assaults. "The victims allege that he lured them to his homes in North Hollywood and Van Nuys," the police said in a statement. "He then used a ruse to get them into his bedroom where he raped them."

 

This is really as shameful news for the teachers and stigmatized relationship between a teacher and a student. Most shameful that he has been continued it from 2003. Although three students complained and filed cases but did not take any steps. At last, based on 4^th student’s complain the police arrested him on April 5, 2009.

India v New Zealand 3rd Test batting bowling and scoring

India is on the way of win, I think none will disagree with me if Indian crickets do not show any irresponsibility in the next rest innings. Though 379 runs from first inning was not good enough for any teams like India against New Zealand but the host could not build any strong base which can make challenge over the India cricketers. Now, India is on batting for second innings and need to make a big score in the third day. India is on the leading position by beading New Zealand earlier in the first innings.
