Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009 top 5 finalists

Most awaited India beauty pageant Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009 was finished. Pune girl Pooja Chopra, New Delhi girls Ekta Chaudhury and Mumbai girl Shriya Kishore are in top three. They have been selected from the 20 beauty girls who attend for the different parts of India. 

Pooja Chopra: Pooja Chopra crowned Miss India world 2009. Her age is 23 years. Height 5feet 8 inch and weight 50 kg. Ritika Ramtri Kumar has given training to Pooja Chopra. She won Femina Miss India East 2009 on 17th February 2009, Miss Perfect 10, Miss Catwalk and Nakshatra Miss Sparkling Beauty, Navy Queen 2007 1st Runner Up, NDA Queen 2004 1st Runner Up. 

Pooja Chopra acted in the movie ‘Fashion’. Her smile is very beautiful of all the contestant. So For her beautiful smile she won sub title ‘Femina Miss Beautiful Smile’ and also won Femina Miss Beautiful Body.              

Ekta Chaudhury: Ekta Chaudhury won Miss India Universe 2009. Her age is 22 years. Hight is 5fet 9.5 inches and waight 55.5kg. Ekta Chaudhury won subtitle Femina Miss Talented. 

Shriya Kishore: Shriya Kishore won Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2009. Shi was the contestant No.18. She is 22 years girl. Her height is 5 feet 10.5 inches and weight 59kg.

Shriya Kishore is the tallest among the three contestants. She won subtitle Femina Miss Hospitality. 

Top 5 finalists: Ekta Chaudhury, Shriya Kishore, Harshita Saxena, Pooja Chopra, Ishita Sarkar. 

Harshita Saxena: Harshita Saxena won the titled Miss Anglie.  Harshita Saxena also won title of Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2008. 

Her hobbies are dancing, reading and she also likes to play basketball and to listen to music. Her age is 21years, height 5feet 9inches and weight 56kg. 

Ishita Sarkar: Ishita Sarkar won the title of Golden Heart. She is 21 years old. Hight 5feet 7 inches and weight 54.65kg. 

Asin, Ajay Devgan, Deepika Padukone were judge. Malaika Arora Khan and Madhavan were anchors. Priyanka Chopra cat-walked on stage and Kongona Ranaut also performed in a dance show.  The program has end last Saturday on 5 April 2009. Former Miss India Aishawarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra crowned Miss World. So All Indian hoped that Pooja Chopra also can able to earn title of Miss World and got it.

Miss India 2009: Pooja Chopra, Ekta Chowdhry and Shriya Kishore hold title

Pune girl Pooja Chopra has been title of the Miss India 2009, Ekta Chowdhry, Miss India Universe 2009 and Shriya Kishore, Miss India Earth 2009. Among them Pooja Chopra will represent India in next Miss World. In 2008, Parvathi Omanakuttan represented India in Miss World 2008 and achieved the Miss World 2008 runnerup title. 20 contestants took parts in the semifinal round. 

 

No doubt that beauty pageant is a big business all over the world. May be in India it is the most popular events. Even most of the India girls like to keep themselves fairness. It may have continued very ancient time because women like to show fairness for men and as alternative, men like it and that is why women like to hold beauty.
