India vs England ODI: The Batting side is not reliance

India already has won the first two matches and ruled the English in iron hands. They beat England won by 158 runs in the first match and by 54 runs in the second ODI at Maharani Usharaje Trust Cricket Ground, Indore. Although India purchased the two victories in a good distance but I think, the cricket intelligence is not satisfied for their batting performances especially in the second ODI in Indore

In the first ODI, Indian most of the batsmen showed very good performances especially the average achievement was well including Yuvraj Singh’s century. Opener Gautam Gambhir, V Sehwag, Raina and the success ODI Captain MS Dhoni. However, in the second match all the batsmen gone flop to build a good score except Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir and Yusuf Pathan. So, this is not a good signal for Indian team to do well in the 3rd ODI that will be taken Green Park, Kanpur at 09:00 local, 03:30 GMT.

I hope that the batsmen of Indian side will try to turn back like the first ODI and will take a good lead in the 3rd ODI at Kanpur

Bollywood and Black Friday 2008

Now, in USA, most people are mainly thinking of Black Friday 2008 deals. Not a lot of time left for this. It is a shopping bonanza and people eagerly wait for its coming. Bollywood stars love to buy things. I think that some of them would have gone to USA to do some shopping had they know more about Black Friday. Often Bollywood stars hit the media headlines because of their lavish life style.

They should consider giving more to the helpless people around them. After all, so many people are so poor in India

Bollywood acress going south for better future

Bollywood is the main cinema industry of India and actors and actress from all the corners of the country come here in search of becoming a big superstar. So, it is very surprising that many Bollywood actresses are doing the other way round. I saw a report that some Bollywood actress are going to the south part of India for having better future. It is happening because the South India has a flourishing film industry and they are in search of new faces who will be inexpensive.

Bollywood actress get could amount of money when they are successful. If they are not successful or if their film don’t get big hit then they don’t get a lot of money. So, in stead of struggling in Bollywood, some actress are now going to South India.

South India has a big film industry. It is not as rich as Bollywood but many movies are made there and there is a lot of scope to work. So, I think that it will benefit south India cinema. However, the local actress might get worried that their demand will decrease. Of course cinema is always highly competitive industry and it is a rack tress .Especially, India is famous for beautiful actress and there is no shortage of beautiful girls. So they have to fight and survive.

All about Hrithik Roshan from a fans view

Among the young actors in Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan is the top actor. Hrithik Roshan does not have too many movies to his credits. In his eight year acting career, he starred in movies.

Hrithik Roshan started as a child artist. He first appeared in Aasha at the age of six. This was followed by Aap Ke Deewane (1980) and Bhagwan Dada (1986).

Hrithik Roshan was born to a family of movie makers. His father Rakesh Roshan acted in many movies but he could not gain much success. Then he turned to directing. Over the years, Rakesh Roshan made movies like Karan Arjun, Koyla Khudgarz, Khoon Bhari Maang, Kishen Kanhaiya. His uncle Rajesh Roshan is a music director.

Before acting in movies, Hrithik Roshan assisted his father, Rakesh Roshan in Karan Arjun and Koyla. He worked as assistant director. This was a great learning experience for young Hrithik Roshan.

As an actor, Hrithik Roshan did not have to struggle a lot. He is one of those rare breed of actors in Bollywood who found success in their debut movies. In 2000, Hrithik Roshan debuted in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. The movie was directed by his father, Rakesh Roshan and the music was composed by his uncle, Rajesh Roshan. In Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Amisha Patel starred opposite Hrithik Roshan. Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai went on to become the biggest hit of 2000 and established Hrithik Roshan as one the most top and talented actor of Bollywood. The movie became very popular among youngsters and the songs were also equally successful. The movie also established Hrithik Roshan as one of the most talented dancers in Bollywood as well. Unfortunately, in the next three years, Hrithik Roshan did not give any big hits. Though the movies he did during this period earned him critical appreciation.

Movies of Hrithik Roshan:

In the present day Bollywood industry, after Aamir Khan, there is one actor who is considered to be a perfectionist to the core and that is Hrithik Roshan. In his eight years of acting career, he only did fourteen movies (he also made several special appearances and guest appearances). Many of his movies did poorly but his performance is always appreciated by the critics. The major movies in Hrithik Roshan’s career are:

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai

Mission Kashmir

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Koi... Mil Gaya

Krrish

Dhoom 2

His unsuccessful movies are:

Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage

Na Tum Jaano Na Hum

Mujhse Dosti Karoge!

Lakshya

Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon

Among these movies, Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, and Mujhse Dosti Karoge! Were released in 2002 and all these movies did lower than average business.

Major movies in Hrithik Roshan’s career:

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai: A romantic-action movie, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, is one of the most popular movies based on the theme of reincarnation. Hrithik Roshan essayed two different characters in this movie. In the first part of the movie, Hrithik Roshan played the character of Rohit, who is a talented salesman and aspiring singer. In the second part, he played the character of Raj Chopra, son of a wealthy NRI business man in New Zealand. Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, had all the necessary elements to become a successful movie, exclusive foreign locations, great songs and dance sequence. Rakesh Roshan spared no cost to make the movie a big one. He even rented a ship which is the only ship in the world that runs on sails and the crew shot in the ship for fifteen days. The dance sequence was choreographed by famous choreographer Farah Khan.

Fiza: Fiza is an offbeat cinema. It was written and directed by a reputed director, Khalid Mohammed. The movie did poorly at the box office but the acting of the three main characters- Hrithik Roshan, Karisma Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan, were highly praised by the critics. The movie tells the story of a Muslim family in Mumbai. Fiza (Karisma Kapoor) is the eldest child of the family, who lives with her mother, Nishatbi (Jaya Bachchan). Fiza’s brother, Amaan (Hrithik Roshan) disappeared during the 1993 Mumbai riot. Amaan ends up joining a terrorist group.

Mission Kashmir: Like Fiza, Mission Kashmir was directed by another famous Bollywood director, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and this movie also deals with the life of a Muslim terrorist. Hrithik Roshan played the role of Altaaf, a young boy whose family was killed by his adoptive father, a police inspector. After growing up, Altaaf joins a terrorist group to take revenge on the killer of his family. The screenplay of Mission Kashmir was written by Suketu Mehta who became the Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2005.

Koi Mil Gaya: This movie is special in Bollywood because it is the first Hindi movie on aliens. The movie is inspired from an Indonesian television Si Yoyo. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik Roshan essayed two different characters in this movie. In the first half, Hrithik Roshan played the role of an autistic person. He is healed after he meets the alien and becomes intelligent and stronger than average people.

Koi Mil Gaya went on to become the biggest hit of 2003. For playing the role of a mentally challenged person, Hrithik Roshan won Filmfare Best Actor Award and Filmfare Critics Award. This was Hrithik Roshan’s second hit movie after Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.

Krrish: Krrish is the sequel of Koi Mil Gaya. This movie is also special in Bollywood because it is the first Hindi superhero movie. Hrithik Roshan played Krishna, son of Rohit Mehra, who received extra ordinary powers from the aliens. Krishna also inherited his father’s capabilities. After his father was deceased, Krishna’s mother died. Krishna is brought up by her grandmother in a remote village. Krishna then goes to Singapore to win the heart of Priya whom he fell in love with. There he comes to know that his father is alive and being held captive by an evil scientist. Krishna then saves his father.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham: Directed by Karan Johar, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is one of the biggest hits of 2001 but in this movie, Hrithik Roshan played a supporting role. In this movie, Hrithik Roshan’s character’s name is Rohan Raichand. He helps reunite his elder brother, Rahul Raichand (Shah Rukh Khan), who left home long time ago for marrying a poor girl. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were the first male-female lead. Hrithik Roshan and Karina Kapoor were the second male-female lead in this movie. Famous Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan played the characters of Mr & Mrs. Raichand.

Dhoom2: Dhoom 2 is the sequel of the 2004 hit movie, Dhoom. In this movie, Hrithik Roshan played a negative character. He played the role of a famous thief, who goes by the name “Mr. A.” After every robbery, he leaves the ‘A’ symbol. ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan), his former classmate ACP Shonali Bose (Bipasha Basu), and Sub Inspector Ali Akbar (Uday Chopra) are in pursuit of Mr.A. In the first week, the movie collected $979,001 in US. It is one of the highest grossing movies ever made in Bollywood. However, it failed to garner any critical acclaim.

Jodhaa Akbar: This is a historical movie based on the marriage of Mughal Emperor Akbar and Rajput Princess Jodhabai. Jodhaa Akbar was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, who directed famous historical movie, Lagaan in 2001. It is one of the most expensive movies ever made in India. The movie was shot over one full year. The Rajput society harshly criticized the movie saying that Ashutosh Gowariker was distorting history. They told him to change the story of the movie. Due to serious opposition, the movie did not release in Rajasthan. Jodhaa Akbar did not do very good in India but it did well in UK and USA.

Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming movie is going to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Family: Hrithik Roshan is happily married to his childhood love Sussanne Khan, daughter of famous actor Sanjay Khan. The couple has two sons: Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan.

Good Crowd in ICL Second Season

It has been some more than two weeks for Indian Cricket league (ICL) and we have seen many matches being played. It is a reality that There are very few big record stores who play in this league. So, there was fear that ICL second season could become a big flop. It seems that there is nothing to worry about and India is still a very good place for arranging cricket tournaments. ICL organizers should feel very happy to see that they have a lot of spectators in the stadium for most of the matches. In fact, in some of the match is there is a full house crowd and there are more than 20,000 spectators.

It is simply an amazing to see that so many people are going to the stadium to watch these matches. But no one could think that it would become so popular in such a short time. BCCI officials have tried their best to destroy the little league and still they are doing their best but it seems that they are not having any success at all in destroying ICL. Instead, ICL that is becoming stronger day by day.
