Balaji-08 award for SRK and Kareena

Balaji Telefilm's gala television awards function was held on Friday. This year Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan and Bollywood queen Kareena Kapoor was awarded. Beside them Karan Johars most popular Talk show Coffee with Karan also awarded. The award ceremony was held at the Andheri Sports Complex, in northwest Mumbai. Most of the leading pioneers were present then but Kareena’s glamorous appearance attracted all.

Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan was there and so was Kareena Kapoor, looking gorgeous in a slinky red sari and backless blouse, with current boyfriend Saif Ali Khan in tow at Balaji Telefilm's gala television awards function.

Balaji honoured him for being the best anchor in the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 3.

Kareena's exciting presence in red sari and backless blouse as she sashayed to the stage to accept the award from Jeetendra and Raakesh Roshan fetched loud cheers. Boyfriend Saif Ali Khan was there among the audience cheering healthy.

The award ceremony was full of jock and attractive. Karan’s jocks were most interested. Another, attractive thing was the cheerful movement of Saif Ali Khan who is the boy friend.

“ I have seen some of them doing their work. Do you think they work all the seven hours?”

“Certainly they do!”

“No, dear Sultana, they do not. They dawdle away their time in smoking. Some smoke two or three choroots during the office time. They talk much about their work, but do little. Suppose one choroot takes half an hour to burn off, and a man smokes twelve choroots daily; then you see, he wastes six hours every day in sheer smoking.”

We talked on various subjects; and I learned that they were not subject to any kind of epidemic disease, - nor did they suffer from mosquito-bites as we do. I was very much astonished to hear that in Lady-land no one died in youth except by rare accident .

“Will you care to see our kitchen?” She asked me.

“With pleasure, “ said I, and we went to see it. Of course the men had been asked to clear off when I was going there. The kitchen was situated in a beautiful vegetable garden. Every creeper, every tomato plant was itself and ornament. I found no smoke, nor any chimney either in the kitchen, - it was clean and bright; the windows were decorated with flower garlands. There was no sign of coal or fire.

“How do you cook?” I asked.

Australia won the Border-Gavaskar Test series by 2-1. through the draw of the 4th test at Adelaide. In the 4th test, Anil Kumble, the Indian skipper, won the toss and decided to bat first because the pitch of Adelaide was batting helpful. India cashed 526 runs ten wickets in their first innings, where Sachin Tendulkar performed 153 runs. The batting genius Tendulkar reached at his 39 test centuries with this century. Besides, V Sehwag, Harbhajan SinghIn, collected 63 in every one and Indian captain, Anil Kumble collected 87 runs. On the other hand Australia gathered 563 runs for all wickets and they led 37 runs to India. Three centuries came from Australia’s 1st innings, ML Hayden 103, RT Ponting 140, MJ Clarke 118 besides PA Jaques scored 60 runs. India got down for batting in the last season and till the last season of the final day they collected 269 runs for 7 wickets by 90 pvers. Only V Sehwag scored 151in the second innings, others were in coming and going demonstration.
