I know, who has got opportunity to use any version of the windows latest version windows 7, is well known about their faster installation. It is more that two of four times faster than previous version of windows service pack 2. Any how, I personally got an opportunity to use window 7. I was impressed to see he visual graphics.

Recently, Phoenix tech has unveiled so faster LAPTOP BIOS that could boot windows 7 less than 15 seconds. This will boost the fastest operating system from Microsoft. Here is a YouTube video you can watch it to be sure. I personally impressed and eager to use. I am not sure if it will be only for laptop or they will instigate for desktop computer too?

IE 8 internet browser can extend Laptops life

I think the users will be surprised hearing that the browser can save you laptops battery life. In the recent research conducted by AnandTech has published the result. By using Gateway laptops run with windows XP and Vista, it continued experiments on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. They found the IE 8 internet browser saves more than 5 percent more battery life.

According to the Counter summary table that Internet Explorer has 65% usage share in internet browser market. AMD’s Tigris will increase Graphics performance

On last Thursday, the second largest micro chip maker AMD has announced a new processor under Turion II X2 and Athlon lines for the part of laptop platform. It has brought out with an improved graphics feature that will improve the multimedia performances. It may come to the chip market as a codename of Tigris. The previous version Puma, AMD’s first platform, introduced on last year for laptop mainstream, the Tigris platform will powered in the same area which suppose to be similar with Intel's Centrino platform. Most of the laptop makers will represent some new laptops equipped with Tigris in the next event in California.

The platform includes dual-core Turion II X2 processors running at speeds between 2.2GHz and 2.6GHz while drawing up to 35 watts of power. The chips will come with up to 2MB of L2 cache and support for DDR2 memory. The new processor lineup also includes Athlon processors running at up to 2.1GHz with 1MB of cache.

AMD has planned to introduce Tigris, targeted the laptop market only one point of view that is the integrated graphics controllers. Instead AMD’s Tigris has M880 chipset with an ATI Radeon graphics that will not share processor’s memory and able to offload multimedia tasks like video decoding.

Lenovo IdeaPad U350 shipping end of June, just for $649

Lenovo does not compromise with its new Notebook laptop computers in the Idea U series line up IdeaPad U350. It will be reasonable price just $649. Beside the low cost price it has declared a lot of discount in the ALL series Laptop computers. IdeaPad U330 is $1,049.00 for pursuing that was fixed for 1,199.00. I found different news in different sites about the screen display. One site that Lenono IdeaPad U350 has 13 inch and other site is showing 13.3 inch. Anyway I found another big description on Cnet and quoted some lines from there.

 

Cnet reported:

"The days of them being able to sell a $2,000 ultraportable is coming to an end. Not just Lenovo, but for everyone," said O'Donnell. "They're just recognizing reality now. People are seeing mini-notebooks and CULV chips and they see they can get the equivalent of what used to be a $2,000 notebook now for significantly less. If they want to play, they have to hit these really aggressive price points."

 

The IdeaPad U350 will support 4 hours power backup so that the users can get a huge working hours. The operating system may be Microsoft's Windows Vista but could be Windows 7. The processor will be 1.3 GHz Intel Pentium that will support with 2 MB RAM and storage will be 500 GB. But will it be include any optical driver? At the end of June it will be clear.

Sony Vaio NS and CS Laptops available with Blu-Ray Drive in $1000 Price Range

Laptop maker Sony announced two stylish laptops with blue-ray disk drive and eye-catching price tag of around $1000. The laptops are primarily designed for fall season. However, the main attraction of the two laptops is their eye-catching design. Sony Nightfall Blue Vaio NS laptop is wrapped with a classy exterior. Another laptop, Sangria Sony Red Vaio CS, comes with polished finish.

Another important side of the laptop is its eye-catching price tag which seems to be very competitive compared to the price tags of same quality laptops from other brands. Nightfall Blue Vaio NS laptop seems to be shipping in the range of $1000. The laptop offers a large 15.4-inch screen which is available in three colors: Nightfall Blue, Silk White, and Granite Silver. Sony Nightfall Blue Vaio NS also features processor of Intel’s Centrino 2 technology and offers memory up to 4 gigabytes.
