New Zealand v India 2nd ODI: Batting and bowling line-up

India is leading the ODI series after winning the first one-day international of 5 matches’ series that was held at McLean Park, Napier, on 03 March 2009. The second match will played at Westpac Stadium in Wellington. Due to bad weather, the authority reduced the match to 38 overs in stead of 50 overs. India 273 runs from the fixed overs were really base to throw the challenge to the Kiwis. New Zealand also accepted the challenge seriously. Again, rain created a barrier and again they reduced and fixed for 28 overs.

After beat to the host, the guest was in pressure and make up mind storage to take the series lead and aimed to present a massive score to the opposition. Indian openers V Sehwag and SR Tendulkar stated well from the stars although SR Tendulkar went to the pavilion just begged 20 runs from 43 balls but V Sehwag stands strongly and scored 77 from 79 balls when he hits 11 fours and a single six. Indian caption MS Dhoni and V Sehwag stands India in a stable position and he personally adds 84 runs. Hard hitter Yuvraj Singh has to return Pavilion by run out by Vettori. Middle order batsman SK Raina also plays very relax mood. He scored 66 runs. At the end MS Dhoni and YK Pathan finished the innings and total score comes 273 runs. So there is not doubt that all the Indian batsmen did well except Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh. I think India batting line-up will be inspired for the first one-day match and will able to take the series lead win more wins.

When India threw and strong challenge to the host New Zealand they could bowl comfortably. They did not face any pressure. The attacking bowlers Zahir Khan and the young Praveen Kumar started very well and felt New Zealand trouble as a result 5 wickets just after 111 runs. Harbhajan Singh personally picked up 3 wickets for 27 runs just from 4 overs. Although Z Khan picked up one and P Kumar took two wickets but they able to make a big pressure over the New Zealand batsmen.

England vs India 6th ODI: Why India lost last three matches and what they should do for 6th ODI?

India has lost three along with England of the seven matches’ series. Now the result is 3-2 where India is in loosing position. If they wish to win the 6th ODI of the series they have to conscious about some significant points. Some of cricket analyst also advised them after the end to the match what the missing points were and how to solve it. They also discuss on about their batting, bowling and fielding. What was the key area under discussion behind their loose?

Indian Batting: what was the main cause of their defeat in the first match? First, Sourav Ganguly run out and added only 2 runs, it is totally non-responsibilities. G Gambhir added only 3 run Sachin Tendulkar 17, Yuvraj Sihgn 0. If the top order and the middle order batsmen do so how it is possible to win the match?

In the 3rd ODI was same problem top and lower order batsmen downfall and the slow running between the wicket was the main cause of loosing the 3rd ODI. That day SR Tendulkar 8, KD Kartik 0 and R Power 5 that was their runs. Although Sourav Ganguly did 72 runs but he spent 104 balls and he was slow in the running between the wickets. Cricket analyst Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri was compared with the England’s cricketer how fast they and how slow Sourav was! That was totally disgusting.

On the 4th odi repeated the previous problem. Top order batsmen’s downfall and would be captain of the Indian team for Twen20 world Cup MS Dhoni’s achievement was dissatisfied all the fans. MS Dhoni’s did only 17 runs and the previous three matches he did 19, 21, 13. So how can you depend on them?

Indian Bowling: The bowling side of Indian team was not good before. But some of the bowlers are disgusting. I am not sure why they come to the national team. Some bowlers are good but they did not know how to do at the exact time. If you look over the bowling of Ajit Agaker, he is totally good but he could able to control his econ. In the past time he was only one bowler who achieved first 50 wickets in a very short time.

Indian Fielding: If I praise the fielding of Indian team, the fans will through the inkpot to me. Anyway, to help a bowler and his econ rate it’s totally depending on fielders. I am not sure how Indian fielders can improve themselves. I think if they want to improve them selves and want to save the extra runs and bounder first time they have to stop themselves over through, stopping ball by using feet instead of hands.

The main cause of loose these three important things always showed some the lack of responsible. Among them all time the main cause was fielding although they has won two matches. If India wants to win the next 6th match they must be responsible about their fielding.

England vs India 3rd ODI: Indian Bowling

Dear readers, what is you opinion about Indian bowling line? I think you will tell that we are not satisfied on them or can not depend on the serious moment. It seems that they are going in a common process. In the matches between England vs India is parallel to ahead of. Both the matches they did not show any competence. It seems powerless in opposition to England batsman, they have detained by the England batsman.

If you give the impression of being the first match, it is comprehensible to that entire not bowler did not show any different effectiveness against the England’s batsman. They did 288 runs only lost by two wickets. Only RP Singh and Zahir Khan’s econ was good also took one wicket each. But the old one Ajit Agarkar’s performances is disappointed all the Indian fans and this also for Piyush Chawla and SR Tendulka too. Dear fans, you will be agreeing with me in this point the Indian bowlers couldn’t do well in the serious moment.

Now look at the second match’s bowling scoreboard. Here is repeated as usual job. Ajit Agarkar’s performances is very bad than before. You can excuse that in a long score the bowlers econ will be high it is reality. His econ is 7.44 but no wicket one other hand MM Patel’s econ is 8.75 but took important three wickets. I am confused why Zahir Khan did not play in this match. Faunally, the results that Indian team won by 9 runs.

My opinion on the two matches that if Indian team wants to win in the 3rd match they have to think seriously about their bowling and batting both. Because, in the first match England did 288 runs by 2 wickets and won the math. One the other hands India did 329 runs and won by 9 runs. Indian teams need to think seriously about their bowling line.

Still five matches are left in the ODI series. Anything can happen in the forthcoming five matches. India and England will meet in the 3rd ODI in Birmingham on 27 August. Ahead of the 3rd match both team must be determined to take the lead in the series winning the upcoming 3rd ODI match. India took some changes in the second ODI which worked well. So, India may not come up with any change in the 3rd ODI whereas English batsmen though play well, their bowlers could not show any resistant against Indian batsmen.
