India wants Serious Changes before Pakistan’s Tour

India wants Serious Changes before Pakistan’s Tour. India is playing seven matches ODI series along with Australia. In November, India will play another series along with Pakistan. But the performances are not well at all. The high officials are thinking about some changes on the team. They are thinking seriously about some old players and their performances such as Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly. Why are they thinking it? Why do they keen to some change? Last month India became Twenty20 champion without some key players who are well ranked in ICC ranking. The young team beat the 50-50 champion Australia in the semifinal round. But they did not do well with the experienced players in the ongoing ODI series. As a result the guest has taken a 2-0 lead in the seven-match series after game one was abandoned due to rain.

The reverses have put senior batsmen Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Saurav Ganguly under pressure after a young side achieved the Twenty20 success in their absence.

Chief selector Dilip Vengsarkar said patience might run out on the senior players after Tendulkar made 0, 16 and 43, Dravid 31 and 0 and Ganguly missed out due to injury.

"Definitely, the threshold has reduced. No question about it," he was quoted as saying in the Mid-Day tabloid, when asked whether selectors would be patient with the senior players.

This decision is inconsistency with time. Because it is the proper time to give opportunity for the youngest players.

India vs Australia ODI Series: Poor Batting Side of India

The 3rd match of ongoing India, Australia odi series will perform on 5 October at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Live action will start from: 09:00 GMT (14:30 IST). But in the first match of this series discarded for rain and in the second math India was beat by 84 runs.

The Indian chase never took off on a wicket that played a touch slow. Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson worked up good pace and their air speed proved discomforting for Gautam Gambhir and Sachin Tendulkar. Johnson beat Gambhir for pace and India were quickly reduced to 11/1. Robin Uthappa (41) revived hopes with some clean strikes.

Sachin fell driving into the offside, straight to Symonds off Clark. Yuvraj who came ahead of Dravid hit a now customary six over mid-on off a free hit. Shortly afterwards, he fell in the same fashion as Sachin.

Rahul Dravid and Dhoni strung together a 49-run stand which, kept some interest alive as the near capacity crowd cheered every run. Dravid’s slog sweep against Brad Hogg was taken brilliantly by Johnson on the line at deep mid-wicket, the fielder showing a great sense of balance. The remainder of the chase was a procession while Dhoni helped himself to some average boosting and morale saving runs.

Now, It is established truth if Indian top order batting become failure then India will not do any good thing. Last match along with Australia is another big example. G Gambhir, SR Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh did not do more than 20 runs. To over come this situating what India needs to do? What is their problem?

India vs Australia ODI Series: Excellent Batting of Australian Batsmen

On 3rd One Day International between India and Australia, Australia will come to the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad with as new fashion. In the last two matches it proved that there is none similar to Australia although they lost against India in the Twenty20 world cup semifinal.

Australian Captain Adam Gilcrist told in an interview that India have to prove that they are best. In an article of Ramiz Rajza in Crickinfo one reader has commented, “Australians have showed, yet again, why they are the supreme world champions in this game. India might have won the t20 championship which demands less application of skills, but Australia is certainly showing their supreme skills in the longer format. The victory seems even more appreciable because they did not have the service of the great Ponting, Bracken, Hussey, & Watson. In comparison, India missed only one of their premier batsmen (Sourav Ganguly) & Sreesanth needs to focus more on his bowling than his comics. He is an absolute embarrassment to watch with his "so-called aggression"(which is absolute wastages of time because he shows his comics when its least needed........) however, India should not be written off because they do have the players with skills. They just need to apply their skills & know when to be display aggression (not comics)”

I agree with the reader. The match of Twenty20 which India beat Australia did not mean that Australian is less strong that India.

After after India’s dramatic victory in the ICC Twenty-20 finals, It’s advantage Neo Sports. The exclusive cricket channel, owned by Nimbus Sport, has already booked Rs 75 crore worth of advertising accounting for 65% of its inventory for the upcoming India-Australia series, starting September 29. Tying up sponsorship deals for the rest could now be a breeze.

“After the disappointment of the World Cup, this will definitely bring back the buoyancy of the game. But, its a long season ahead, and its a larger version with 50 overs. So, it is critical for India to sustain its performance. Twenty20 world Cup Final: Australia will play Twenty20 (T20) Final? Do you agree?

Twenty20 world Cup Final: Australia will play Twenty20 (T20) Final? Do you agree? May be, Australia is going to face semifinal to Twenty20 (T20) in Durban and a home series along with India without Ponting. It is a big shock for Australia team. There is not doubt the he is one of the success Captain in Australia team. But I think, Australian is not less strong without Ponting. Ponting suffered a hamstring strain while batting during Australia’s six-wicket loss to Pakistan at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Tuesday night. Ponting’s injury, which did not allow him to field against Pakistan,

Weaknesses of Australia team: Left-armer Sohail Tanvir proved the undoing of the Oz top-order in their loss to Pakistan and in Rudra Pratap Singh India have a match-winning leftie that potentially could do the same. The Aussies can be a flustered bunch when their top three or four don't kick in.

The players suppose to be play in the tweny20 Semi-final, are below; Adam Glichrist, Matthew Hayden, Brad Hodge, Andrew Symonds, Michael Hussey, Michael Clarke, Brad Haddin, Brett Lee, Nathan Bracken, Mitchell Johnson, Stuart Clark.

Same thing is here like India that top-order batsmen’s early down fall is the big problem in the Australia Team now. In spite of some strong middle order batsmen like Brad Hodge, Andrew Symonds, Michael Hussey, Michael Clarke some time they had to fall seriously batting downfall. If Australia would maintain their middle warder then it will be easy to win. I think, the result of this match will show the reflection in the forthcoming ODI series along with India that will be hosted by India.

Twenty20 world Cup Final: Is India Strong Enough to play Twenty20 (T20) Final

Twenty20 world Cup Final: Is India Strong Enough to play Twenty20 (T20) Final, India could play on final if they can beat Australia in the semi-final in Durban. They team who win the match will play the final in Johannesburg. After this twenty20 world cup, India and Australia will meet again in a seven matches home series India. So both the team will try hardly to beat each other and will take the match seriously.

Weaknesses of Indian team: If their frontline attacks have an off day, India has only Yuvraj and Sehwag to call on for a couple of overs of part-time spin. Nothing extra to speak of in the medium-pace unit - that may turn out expensive.

The players suppose to be play in Semi-Final of Tewnty20 in Durban: India: Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Mahendra Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Ajit Agarkar, Rudra Pratap Singh, Shantha Sreesanth.

What India will have to do? We all know that most of the victory and defeat will depend on the success of the top-orders batsmen. So the match is the key to play final of T20 also a jumping inspirations for the home series between India and Australia. So India will have to try heart and soul, to win the match.

India vs Australia ODI Series: The Indian Squad for Home Series

India vs Australia ODI Series: The Indian Squad for Home Series

India has announced their team for home series. For upcoming series with Australia, BCCI selection board members have taken away some of old and experienced players such as Virender Sehwag, Munaf Patel, Ajit Agarkar and Rohit Sharma and announced a fifteen-member squad team.

Speaking to reporters BCCI chief Sharad Pawar said, “We should give opportunity to young players…in the presence of old, experienced players, new generation should be prepared.”

There was immediate good news for Harbhajan Singh, but Virender Sehwag need not despair just yet. Although the selectors did not find place for Sehwag in the squad for the first three one-dayers against Australia, you can be sure he will figure at some point in the 12 ODIs India play at home over the next couple of months. With the quantum of cricket India have ahead of them, the selectors will rotate Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly. cricinfo

M S Dhoni (Capt), Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa, Piyush Chawla, Irfan Pathan, Dinesh Karthik, Zaheer Khan, R P Singh, Ramesh Powar, Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh

India vs Australia ODI Series: MS Dhoni, The Captain of Indian Team for Home Series

India vs Australia ODI Series: MS Dhoni will be the Captain of Indian Team

Who will be the next captain of Indian Team during the India vs Australia ODI series? After returning form England tour India Captain Rahul Dravid announced on September 14 that he did not agree to lead Indian team. As cause he showed that it hampered to his batting concentration. Now BCCI has decided that MS Dhoni will lead the India team during the India-Australia upcoming ODI series.

Zeecric reported:

BCCI on Tuesday announced that Mahendra Singh Dhoni will succeed Rahul Dravid as the captain in the forthcoming ODI home series against Australia beginning September 29. Team India meanwhile will get a separate skipper for Tests.Though reports suggest that Tendulakar will lead in the longer version, the decision is still kept in abeyance.

Dhoni, who is 26 years old and hails from Jharkhand, will lead only 3 ODIs against Australia to begin with. A decision to whether his term as skipper will be extended will be taken only after the Australia series. Yuvraj Singh will be the Vice-Captain of the team. India is to take on Pakistan after meeting the Oz challenge.

The announcement came at CCI meet in Mumbai. The five selectors, with former captain Dilip Vengsarkar at the helm, took the decision among others.

MS Dhoni is not bad for leading India team during the ODI series against Australia because he is doing well on the Twenty20 world cup Championship. Dear fans you have to wait what will he do? Will he appropriate for the next captaincy of Indian Team?
