Sri Lanka vs India 2009: Squad for India ODIs at home series

Sri Lanka has announced the squad for the home series against India. They selection committee has declared a 15 men squad for the ODIs and also 4 men for as the stand by players. They did not bring any change to the squad that played during the Pakistan tour.

In the previous tour of Pakistan, Sri Lanka earned a 2-1 series victory whenever they got a most runs victory in the 3rd ODI. Winning toss, Sri Lanka cashed 309 runs in the scoreboard. Aiming to touch 209 runs, Pakistan lost all wickets just adding 75 runs in the scoreboard as a result Sri Lanka secured a most run victory.

I am confused about the squad because during the Tri-Nation series in Bangladesh Sri Lanka did not able to do well although they secure the Trophy. During the fist match over Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka scored 210/6 from 50 over and the match against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka 147 (30.3/31 ov). In the reply reached the target 23.5/31 overs. In the final Bangladesh aches 152 runs from 49.4 overs to fill the target Sri Lanka had to loss 8 wickets by playing 48.1 overs.

I think Sri Lankan has thought largely about the last series victory as a capital and the last Kit-Ply series in Bangladesh too.

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Kumar Sangakkara, Sanath Jayasuriya, Upul Tharanga, Chamara Kapugedera, Jehan Mubarak, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Thilina Kandamby, Muttiah Muralitharan, Ajantha Mendis, Farveez Maharoof, Dilhara Fernando, Nuwan Kulasekera, Thilan Thushara, Angelo Mathews

Chamara Silva, Malinga Bandara, Mahela Udawatte and Chanake Welagedara were named as stand by player
