In the 2nd test, Australia won the toss and elected to bat first and scored total 465 runs losing all wickets (Symond 162*, Hogg 79, Lee 59, Ponting 55). Losing 6 wickets at 132 runs, they had to face in a bad condition. Australia reached a good position by flying on Andrew Symonds’s confirm batting. Andrew Symonds has selected man of the match. Everything was good- excellent batting and bowling of both the team, but this will be memorable for wrong umpiring. In the first innings India’s achievement was 532, Sachain Tendulkar scored unbeaten 154 runs, VVS Laxman 109, Sourav Ganguly 67 and Rahul Dravid 53 which were mentionable. However, India leaded 69 runs to Australia. It seemed that, India might show a better thing this test match, but at last they failed to do so.
