Bangladesh cricket is the Ashraful age now. Before, it was Bashar age. At that time the Australian Cricket Coach Dev Whatmore played the important role to reached Bangladesh in this fighting position. Dev Whatmore just has finished his coaching period. But Bangladesh still wants him now or future. It is clear from the announcement of nn official of Bangladesh Cricket Board,

"Our door is still open for Whatmore. He is a great coach and (the) Bangladesh team has improved a lot during his four-year tenure," Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) general secretary Mahbub Anam said.

Anam, who heads the board's coach-hunting mission launched when Whatmore quit last month, said Bangladesh had not said good-bye to the Australian, noting: "He made the decision to leave the post."

During his coaching time Bangladesh improves more. As a result Bangladesh fought on the super eight at Caribbean in ICC World Cup Championship 2007.
