ICC World Twenty20 World Cup Fixtures and venues

IPL is celebrating the season 3. At the same time, the entire top nations are taking preparation for the Twenty20 World Championship 2010. You all the venue have been selected as the Caribbean country. This is the season 3 the world will be celebrate the very short formatted cricket competitions. It is a two-year competition by turn but due to change the Mini-World Cup schedule, it is taking place after one year. India achieved the prestigious trophy in the inaugural ceremony that was held in South Africa and Pakistan earns the trophy in the second season in England.

According to the FTP & ICC cricket schedule, West Indies will organize the season’s ceremony. Twelve teams will be the competitors. Among the two teams achieves the qualification by playing the pre –selection match that was held in Dubai.

The new comer, Afghanistan has showed a magical performance in the Qualifying round. They have beaten the experienced nation Ireland in the final in February. So, beside the 10 Test playing countries the audience will get to watch the extra performances.

The twelve teams will play a Robin-Round match by dividing 4 groups and two teams from each group will play super-eight matches in two groups. Top two will be qualified for the first Knock-out round in semifinals.

The cover Twenty20 Championship 2010 will be opened on Friday, April 30th 2010 and Super-eight from May 6th 2010. Two matches will be held in same stadium each day and all the match will be played in three cricket grounds.

Four new venues and one match added for IPL's third season 2010

IPL third season has been scheduled from March 12 to April 25 in 2010. In this season, the fans of the short formatted Indian club cricket tournament will see some new features that stack in recent meeting. More that five new points have been added here. It will be played 60 matches instead of 59 because of 3rd and 4th place that was not held in the previous two seasons. The authority has been selected four new venues.

Cricinfo

Nagpur, Visakhapatnam, Ahmedabad and Dharamsala are the new venues, hosting some games of the Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab, respectively.

Some players who attended in the unauthorized Indian Cricket League will allowed to play on the side of any teams from the next third season. 'Strategic timeout' will be reduced this year which was increased in the second season that was held in South Africa in 2009 and will be two breaks during the match time. Two clubs will be attended in the season four and the matches will be 94 instead of 60 in 2011.

Sri Lanka vs. Pakistan Twenty20 Time and venue

Pakistan cricket team has proved that they are the most powerful team in Twenty20 formatted cricket at this moment. Both the teams Sri Lanka and Pakistan last meet in this short formatted tournament in England, the second season of T20 World Champ. That time Pakistan washed out and achieves the trophy. The visitors already have been lost the Test and One-Day series, now eyes on to win the single Twenty20 tournament. It hopes that the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo will celebrate the match with full of crowd because it is time to take a hand over visitors of World Twenty20 defeat.

Sri Lankan consecutive wins in the first three ODI powered and promoted for the series wins but last two was controlled by the visitors. Just before a week of the Tri-Nation Series R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo is going to celebrate 2nd Twenty20 international. The first T20 match was held between India and Sri Lanka February this year when India visited Sri Lanka instead of visit Pakistan for Mumbai Terrorist attack.

According to GMT the match will be held at 13:30 and the Host time will be 19:30 but the visitors’ local time will be one hour less that the host time. According to Pakistan time the match will be held at 18:30.

IPL 2009 complete fixture and timetable and venues

South Africa is the host of 2nd season of IPL Twenty20 League. The opening match will be started on April 18, 2009 at Newlands stadium in Cape Town and final match will be held in Johannesburg.

South Africa’s 8 cities will be celebrated IPL 2009’s all matches. 59 matches will be kicked in 8 different cities. They are Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, East London, Kimberly, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth and the opening match will be kicked off between Rajasthan Royals (the inaugural champions) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore.

 

Fist semifinal will be taken place at SuperSport Park, Centurion and the second semifinal and final will be kicked off at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

There was some news in media that the two semi-final and final will be hold in Indian home ground but I now I can see that it will be held on South Africa. Any why, this is very good decision from IPL authority.

India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI 2009: Weather, Venue, records and timing

Weather condition is the big fact of the ongoing ODI series between India and New Zealand. The first ODI was resulted with D/L methods. Even, the first innings was completed 50 overs. Similarly, the 2nd ODI also did not take place and at last it was discarded. So, it the big facts rest of the tournaments. The 3rd ODI will be taken place in Christchurch. The AMI Stadium is all set to bear the one-day tournament. India vs New Zealand match will be the 47th ODI that is going to inaugurate on 8 March, 2009 at 14:00 local, 01:00 GMT and according to IST it will be placed on 7:00AM. 

According to the weather forecast that I have collected from the different weather forecast websites are below:

stuff.co.nz is showing that the weather will be a clear day at AMI Stadium in Christchurch. Sunday’s highest temperature will be highest 23 oC and lowest 10 oC. Similarly, metservice.co.nz is also forecasting find sunny day during the match time but Yahoo weather is showing that the day will be plenty cloudy.  

 

AMI Stadium is formerly known as Jade Stadium and Lancaster Park, It is sports stadium situated in Christchurch, New Zealand. Mainly two types of games organized here, Rugby and Cricket. First One-day international was placed between New Zealand and Pakistan where New Zealand won by 22 runs on Feb 11, 1973 and the last one-day international was held between New Zealand and West Indies when the host gets 5 wickets defeat at Jan 3, 2009. There is only one match when two foreign countries took parts in 1990. Among the 45 matches New Zealand has begged 25 wins. Before the last defeat New Zealand secured five victories in a row.
