Germany vs Spain: Euro final who will win?

Germany and Spain is going to face each other in the final of the ongoing UEFA Euro 2008. With the match German vs Spain, the 31 day long Euro will be end on Sunday 29 June. The match is going to kick off at Ernst Happel, Vienna. He opening ceremony was held in the same ground. In the opening match was Switzerland vs Czech Republic and the finishing match will be Germany vs Spain.

Germany is from Group B, the runners-up. No one thought that Germany will able to beat the most favorite Portugal easily. Germany just beat to Croatia in the qualification round and also beat Portugal in quarter-final and also Turkey in the semi-final that did not beat to Germany after 1984. I also strong recommended that Germany has become 3 time Champions.

The opposition team of Germany in the final of UEFA Euro 2008 is Spain. This is the third time Spain is playing in the final tournament. Spain became champion one time and one time runners-up. Spain is the only team that did not beat to any tams. If Spain becomes the champion of this stage they will be unbeaten champion. It perhaps the first time of unbeaten champion opportunity for Spain

The short story about the two teams of the Euro final match is full of useful information that I collected form different websites. But the result will come tomorrow at 20:45.

Netherlands is favorite on pen and paper. However, at this level of tournament, I think, no team can be said favorite because just a one good pass or a wrong pass can make the difference in the match. Both the sides look balanced and attacking. To me, if both the sides can continue their top form in the quarter final then it is going to be a mind blowing match. Now, you decide if you can afford to miss such a seemingly classic match.

Croatia vs Turkey 2nd quarter-final: injuries and getting cards:

A lot of players on the side of Turkey are in serous injury. Some of the players, who did not play and fit for the next quarter-final against Croatia, are fit for the next match. Although someone considers about Arda and Volkan are consistent stars but it is defense of Turkey is not strong enough to protect the stronger Croatia.

Croatia vs Turkey 2nd quarter-final: who will win?

As Turkey has achieved the qualification for the quarter-final by beating to strong teams, so we cannot say that it is a weak team but they have to face the strongest Croatia. Important thing is that Croatia beat some of the strongest teams in the eliminating round like most powerful England.

Croatia might seem to be a bit ahead of Turkey considering their hundred percent winning record in the group stage. However, taking Turkey’s superb comebacks in the last two group matches into account, I think, Turkey has the ability to defeat Croatia in the match. So, to be honest, I do not see any favorite team for this match, as both the teams have some strong sides that would help them in the quarter final. The question lies here is that if the two sides will be able to continue their impressive form in the quarter final as well. The answer will make the difference between the two teams in the match. However, one thing is for sure that both sides know it very well that a semi final berth would take them very close to winning the title of Euro 2008. So, don’t you think that an excellent match is waiting there at the Ernst Happel, Vienna in Austria?

Portugal vs Germany Quarter final, a short story and online Live Score

The first Quarter Final clash of Euro 2008 between Portugal vs Germany is going to kick off Basel St. Jakob-Park, Switzerland at 20:45 local time on Thursday 19 June 2008. Portugal is the champion of Group A and Germany is the Runner-up of Group B, after playing three matches in the qualifying match. The Quarter final of Euro 2008 is a knock out. So one team will loose their hope to secure the Euro champion and that team will kick-out form the tournament. So this stage is very important for every team. We can not say anything by sitting here what the result will come. But it is easy to measure that both the teams are from themselves view.

Portugal vs Germany: will the squad be changed?

It is an important question for Portugal Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari. Why? During the math alongside the co-host Switzerland Portugal got heavy defeat of 0-2 for some change in midfields and strikers. Form this decision Portugal Coach will learn something that will implement in the match of First Quarter final of ongoing EUFA Euro 2008.

Sky Sported reported:

· "I could, but I'm not going to change anything," he stated. "In principle it will be the same team."

· "I don't expect it to be my last game with Portugal," he said. "Everything we have done is one with one objective (to get to the final).

· "I have the utmost respect for Germany but I trust my team and I think we are going to go through."

Portugal vs Germany: Portugal is worry about Germany

Reuters quotes that Portugal have had a wary eye on Germany since Euro 2008 began but their meeting in Thursday's quarter-final in Basel could not have come at a better time for Luiz Felipe Scolari's side. I think so; if you look over the previous important and world class football tournament alongside Germany then you could easily understand the Portugal got serious defeat to German. Germany's last meeting with Portugal in the European Championship was a humiliating 3-0 defeat in the group phase in 2000 but they did get a measure of revenge with a 3-1 victory in the third-placed match at the last World Cup. So Germany is the most favorite for the Euro Cup Championship.

Portugal vs German first Quarter Final: Germany is most favorite team?

In spite of Germany injury, they are confident about their victory in the quarter final alongside the super form Portugal. Why? Although I did not get any information of pervious Euro championship where the tows come to field to face each other but German defeated Portugal during the European Championship and Portugal defeat Germany in the last Word Cup championship. Some of key players are in injury in Germany side but the previous victory against the co- host Austria and Poland making brave to clash Portugal.

Portugal vs Germany: Portugal will play their best games

Scolari’s decision for changing formatted team during the last match Portuguese got heavy defeat. In this situation they are thinking to play best in the quarter final of Euro 2008. "We have had two very good second halves," said Scolari, who is likely to field the same team that started the first two games. "Principally we have played football. We've worked with the ball. That is our quality." Not only the Coach but the star player Ronaldo is uttering similar words to do well "For me being favorites doesn't count," Ronaldo said ahead of the match. "I just hope Portugal can play their best game."

Germany vs Portugal Quarter Final: Online Live Score and Updates

It is for sure that football fans around the world are now eagerly waiting for an exciting quarter final match between Germany and Portugal tomorrow. I guess, you already started to manage your time to watch the match live on television. However, it is also true that not all of you are as fortunate as the rest of you are, because some of you may not be able to enjoy the match on television due to your personal or professional works, or may be you do not have access to the television channel that is showing the match live. Attractive Opening Ceremony of Euro 2008

UEFA Euro is one of the biggest football events in to the Europeans. It inaugurates after four years. This year the UEFA Euro is hosted by two countries Austria and Switzerland. On 7 June 2008 at 17:00 local time in St. Jakob Stadium, Basel, Switzerland. The opening ceremony will be attractive and colorful because of its popularity.

Football is the heart of European and if it becomes UEFA Euro then there is no doubt. Euro is a prestigious event to the Europeans. Now all Europe is in Euro 2008 fever. I have quoted some opinions below;

"I'm not a football fan though I am very glad and a bit proud that the tournament is happening here," said 45-year-old Angelino Bernardo, a 4-star hotel employee.

"It is an advantage on the part of my hotel employer since they are going to house here a number of guests from all over Europe. Para sa akin ay dagdag na trabaho and actually bawal sa aming mga workers ang magbakasyon magmula sa June7 hanggang matapos ang event," Bernardo added. (It is an additional work for me and actually we are not allowed to go on vacation starting June 7 until the end of the soccer cup.)

"The Europe Soccer Cup 2008 is an opportunity for Austria to showcase not only its enthusiasm for sport but also its image as a country of art and culture," said overseas Filipino worker Romeo Morales.

"The latest horrible event in Amstetten, where Josef Fritzl took his daughter into captivity for 24 years, has put Austria in the bad limelight. The European Soccer Cup is an important event for Austria and this is a good opportunity to prove that the country has other wonderful things to offer," said another OFW, Felipe Reyes.

"Football unites": that is the slogan the Austrian Football Association, the Austrian Bundesliga authorities and the "2008- Austria on the ball" initiative have chosen for UEFA EURO 2008TM, and it is their hope that the beautiful game will build bridges between people and cultures, across all borders.

So, it is clear that not only the opening ceremony but also whole the Euro 2008 champion will be more exciting too.

Europe / US : Mobixell Networks announce that its latest platform offering with leading Swiss mobile operator, Swisscom, has gone live.

It will see Swisscom deliver the highest quality live video and audio streaming possible with low bandwidth conditions (GPRS) to its customers - in time for the anticipated surge in demand around the UEFA EURO 2008(TM) and the Olympics.

Using Mobixell's Mobile Webcast(TM) solution, Swisscom can deliver real-time Mobile TV and Video on Demand to ensure a sustained connection even when the network reaches capacity or reception quality deteriorates.

Mobixell's Mobile Webcast solution performs real-time adaptation, so that irrespective of the handset device being used or variable wireless network conditions, the user experience is always optimised. In addition to providing continuous streaming, despite network or reception limitations, it also has the ability to reduce the stall duration when the user hands-off from a high-bit rate connection (e.g. UMTS) to a low bit-rate (e.g. EDGE or GPRS) connection. Mobile Webcast facilitates introducing new video services, from Video on Demand and live channels through to Internet video, simply and at optimal quality.

As well as enhancing the customer experience, Mobile Webcast also opens up the opportunity for mobile advertising as ads and branding can be added to the video streams. Recent research from Jupiter has estimated that mobile internet advertising revenues in Europe will grow to EUR 1.3billion in 2012, and mobile video is seen to be the second highest contributor to this.

Swisscom's spokesperson Christian Neuhaus said, "Major sporting events, such as the UEFA EURO 2008(TM), typically require dealing with peaks of cellular traffic as high volumes of people gather in one area, all using their phones for a variety of different services. Swisscom recognises the importance of providing its customers with the best service quality possible, and by working with Mobixell, has ensured that this will remain the case during June's European football tournament and the Olympics.

"In addition to the benefits continuous streaming offers Swisscom customers, it also holds an excellent business case for Mobixell itself," Christian Neuhaus continued. "Statistically, when a user gets cut off while using a mobile video service more than once or twice, they will not continue to use it. Kia Motors Corporation, in conjunction with Hyundai Motor, has become an official global sponsor of the upcoming UEFA European Football Championship ™.

Kia Motors Corporation, in conjunction with Hyundai Motor, has become an official global sponsor of the upcoming UEFA European Football Championship ™, or ‘UEFA EURO 2008™’.

Kia Motors Corporation President & CEO, Euisun Chung, and Chief Operating Officer of UEFA Marketing and Media Management, Philippe Margraff, held a ceremony for the UEFA EUROTOP partnership, which includes sponsorship rights of the UEFA EURO 2008 ™ tournament, at the grand opening ceremony of Kia’s €1 billion Slovakia plant on April 24. The partnership broadens Kia’s long-term partnership with football, which started with the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan and now includes official partnerships with FIFA until 2014 and the Chinese national men’s and women’s football teams.

“We are honored to be in a fortunate position to sponsor the UEFA EURO 2008™ tournament as part of our EUROTOP partnership agreement with UEFA. This sponsorship, fittingly signed on this historic day for Kia Motors, will give a big boost to our brand awareness, not only here in Europe but also among the huge audience of football fans throughout the world,” said Mr. Chung.

Speaking at the ceremony at Kia Motors’ first European production facility, UEFA’s Philippe Margraff commented, “ UEFA EURO 2008™ promises to be a spectacular sporting event enjoyed by millions all over the world. Kia Motors is not only strengthening its relationship with Europe today [by officially opening the Slovakia production facility] but it is also building an exciting relationship with one of the world’s premier sporting events.”

The UEFA EURO 2008 ™ sponsorship will entitle Kia to promote its brand on perimeter boards around the stadiums and through official UEFA TV broadcast partners during the event, and use the event’s official logo in company media materials. In addition, Kia will also provide official vehicles that will be used during the event.

In addition to UEFA EURO 2008 ™ , the EUROTOP partnership means that the Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group has obtained the right to participate as an official sponsor in all of UEFA's national-team competitions including the European U-21 Championships in 2007 and 2009, the European Futsal Championships in 2007 and 2009, and the Women’s European Football Championship in 2009 .

This move, along with the grand opening ceremony of Kia’s manufacturing plant in Slovakia, is expected to boost Kia’s brand image and awareness across the European market. Kia’s Slovakia plant is producing the cee’d family of compact vehicles designed by and for Europeans, and will also begin producing Kia’s Sportage compact SUV later this year.

The UEFA EUROTOP partnership will allow Kia to continue to actively build its global brand and association with football, the most popular sport in the world.

UEFA Euro 2008: Switzerland anxious for Von Bergen Injury

Von Bergen who is one of the defenders of Switzerland’s declared squad for the forthcoming UEFA Euro 2008. During the practices session he has got injury in his leg and uncertain for the UEFA Euro 2008. He has been playing with different clubs since 2000. Now he is working with Hertha BSC Berlin Club.

The injury of Von Bergen, who has not been immediately replaced, creates more dilemma for Switzerland's defense, which has had to cope all year without starter Patrick Mueller and, more recently, Ludovic Magnin.

French champion Lyon has already announced that it will not renew Mueller's contract, but has yet to release the 31-year-old defender to the Swiss team because of its shortage of defenders ahead of the French Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.

I think it is a shake for Switzerland before UEFA Euro-2008. Doctor is anxious about Von Bergen to play the matches.
