Amitabh Bachchan is known to all as Big B. He has won more awards in his career. He started his career in 1969 and till now he has continued he is dominating with his strong performance. His first film was ‘Saat Hindustani’ and he got National Film Award for Best Newcomer. In this film Bachchan acted as Anwar Ali. In this year he acted in two films.

Amitah Bachchan was born on 11 October, 1942 in a noble Hindu Shikh Family. At that moment it was totally out of tradition that a he is 67 years old. He comes from a Hindu Shik Family. His father was a well known Hindi poet named Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his mother Teji Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Family: In 1973, Amitabh Bachchan married Joya Bhaduri who was a actress in bollywood and a successful actress in bollywood. Shweta Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan are two children of Amithab Bachchan. Shweta Nanda is 2 years younger from Abhishek Bachchan.

Shweta Nanda: Shweta Nanda is the only daughter, who was born on 17 March, 1974. Family all of them are involved in film industry without Shweta Nanda. She married an industrialist Nikhil Nanda.

Abhishek Bachchan: Abhishek Bachchan is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. He was born on 5 February1976. At the age of 24, he started his career in 2000 and till acted at least fifty films and won film fare Award three times. Abhi got married former Miss World and bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai on 20 April 2007.

Refugee is first film and for his good performance he nominated for Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. In 2004, Abhishek Bachchan won Filmfare best supporting Actor Award in 2005 for ‘Sarkar’ and for Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna he won the award second time.

Sachin Tendulkar’s 47th Century at Kolkata

The second Test cricket match is going at Eden Gardens, Kokata and the second day is running. At this moment India is dominating the visiting country South Africa. South Africa won the toss and elected to bat fist but they could not show their strength in the West Bengal cricket ground. Only AN Petersen and HM Amla’s centuries helped to stretch the score. This way South Africa could able to make lead of 296 runs.

At this moment India is on batting losing two early wickets they were in trouble but Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag has pulled Indian score over 300 more runs at this moment when Virender Sehwag is 161 and Tachin Tendulkar just has earned his 47th century.

Sehwag has scored 162 runs from 168 balls by hitting 23 boundaries and 2 sixes on the other hand SR Tendulkar has scored 100 runs from 192 balls by 11 forus and no sixes. But when he was in 97 runs he was in pressure by the bowler and spent huge ball to reach 100.

Now, I like to introduce about Ben Kingsley. He is an English actor who wins Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards, is 66 years old. He had a roll in bollywood film industry and acted in the film ‘Gandhi’, was that debutant his career that was released in 1982.  The film was produced based on Mahatma Gandhi’s life story and the film got released in the four different countries at a time; India, United Kingdom, United States, and Australia. Ben Kingsley played the lead role in that film as a Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

In the film ‘Teen Patti’, Amitabh Bachchan was seen along with Ben Kingsley in Pune and England shooting locations. In the film Madhavan is another character and he plays as a professor; “I play this professor who wants everything in life too quickly without wasting too much time. It is a completely different role for me where you will see me in six different looks,” Madhavan is quoted as saying by a news agency. The film will released on February in 2010

Padma Awards 2010: Bollywood and Sports category

In the Padma Awards, Aaamir, Rahman Padma Bhushan and Sehwag and his Guru honored for the national prestigious award this year. For the outstanding contribution, the award was given by the Government of India in different stages Arts, Education, Industry, Literature, Science, Sports, Social Service and public life.

I am just giving a short description only on sports and Arts. On sports category, I am including a few names; in cricket Virendra Sehwag and his ‘guru’ Ramakant Achrekar both has been designated for Padma Shri awards.

Famous music director and creator, the Oscar Winner A R Rahman and most popular bollywood actor Aamir Khan hit been titled for Padma Bhushan. Saif Ali Khan is also nominated for Padma Shri. There are some NRI and foreigner who also awarded for Padma Award, are 13 in number.
