30th BCS Preliminary result Published online on 19 October

The Preliminary result of 30th BCS result has been published on 19th October by the regulatory commission Bangladesh Public Service Commission. 14 thousand and 470 candidate has been promoted for the Written Examination. The routine of the 30th written examination will be announced on the official website of the www.bpsc.gov.bd as usual.

The Examination was commenced on July 30, 2010 and 147.988 thousands candidate sat for. Among them 2.572 thousand will be appointed for the post of government service as class-one officer (gadget).

In a statement, the Controller of Examination told that 14 thousand and 470 examinee has promoted for the next written examination. But 10 results have kept withheld. It expects, the written examination would be held on December.

Muttiah Muralitharan declare his retirement from international cricket

Muttiah Muralitharan, the king bowler in Cricket history, has declared that he would go retire after 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup that will be star from February.

He is one of controversial figure for his bowling history in cricket history. But he could overcome everything with his passion and hard work. His best achievement, he has earned the title of most test cricket holder. On Saturday, he has public his retirement plan.

The Sportal  wrote:
"We have been a great side for last three years and last year was a phenomenal year for CSK because we won the IPL and Champions Trophy," he said.
"But unfortunately as retention you can hold only four players and you have to auction some players."
"Depending on how the owners want to buy the team (I will stay). It's sad for the players but rules have been written, so you can't change."
"I hope that they might buy me back otherwise I will play for whichever team pick me and I will be loyal to them."

Cricket fans knowns that Murali already been retired form Test Cricket. But he is dominating short formatted cricket tournament in Indian Premier League. He use to play on the side of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Recently, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan, the famous scriptwriter has given a very open interview about his son. He added several new words during his conversation about his son that might be unknown to all. He added, ‘Whenever Salman settles in a relationship, he starts looking for his mother in that girl, Salim added. He said that it is not possible for a woman to do all the household chores when she just starts her career as an actress. She can’t be expected to prepare meals, look after kids and wash clothes while balancing the hectic schedule of shooting.’

Scholarship for descendants of Muktijodhas by High Commission of India

Government of India is going to award scholarship for Bangladeshi students who are the children of Freedom fighter of liberation war. The students, who are study in Higher Secondary and Under Graduation level, are eligible to apply for the scholarship. October 4, 2010 - Applications invited for award of scholarship to the descendants of Muktijoddhas in Bangladesh by the Government of India

Applications are invited from direct descendants of Muktijodhas, who are pursuing Undergraduate and Higher Secondary studies in Bangladesh, for award of Annual Scholarships by the Government of India, for Academic year 2010-2011.

2. Amount of Scholarship is Tk 2000/- per month for four years for Undergraduate students and Tk 500/- per month for two years for Higher Secondary students.

3. Eligibility (applicable for both categories)

·         Male students who have secured GPA 3 and above and Female students who have secured GPA 2.5 and above and have obtained admission in a recognized institute for continued study.
·          Those students who have already received scholarship in the previous year need to re-apply alongwith proof of having passed the previous academic year with acceptable GPA.
·         Average Family Income less than Tk 8000 per month.
4. Application Procedure:

·         Application in English addressed to High Commission of India, Dhaka. Application form can be downloaded from www.hcidhaka.org
·         One passport size colour photograph of the applicant.
·         Monthly family Income certificate duly signed by Chairman of Village/UNO/ TNO/any Class I Gazetted Officer.
·         Copy of Muktijodha Certificate issued only by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
·         Name of Educational Institution, Proof of Admission and attested copy of applicable mark sheet.
·         Photocopy of voter/National ID card/Students ID card.

5. Applications must be forwarded directly to High Commission of India, House #2, Road # 142, Gulshan-1, Dhaka-1212, Bangladesh before 15 November 2010.

6. The Government of India, reserves the right to reject any or all applications received without assigning any reason.

‘Player of the Year’ 2010 goes to Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar has been awarded as the Player of the ‘Player of the Year’. According the judgment of International Cricket Council (ICC) his performances over the year brought this achievement. After receiving the award, Tendulka has appreciated most to the former South African cricket who is the responsible coach. He said, "Gary has been instrumental in making our batters play a plenty of deliveries in the practice session. During net practice, he himself bowls thousands and thousands of balls."  He also added that his (Gary) efforts for the team members including him.

Indian Master batsman expects that his team will the next be the winner of World Cup 2011.  You all know that the Cricket World cup will be hosted in the three counties from the 19 February 2011.

"It is a big tournament. It is not only my dream but of the entire country. We are working really hard for it. We still have five months to go, we will focus on tournaments before the World Cup and would like to carry the good form to the World Cup."

Davey Jacobs the new star in IPL season 4

The Indian Premier League season 4 to be held more than six later but the franchises are busy to organize their team. That is why they are planning to explore the new experts home and abroad. The recent Champions League T20 will help the owners to find out the qualified players as expected.

You all know that the shorten formatted cricket tournament has become very popular and is profitable part of their business. To earn the popularity, there is nothing alternative of performing well in the tournaments. So, the managements have to recruit talented cricketer aiming to achieve the title of IPL20 season 4.

Davey Jacobs, the South African Cricket, use to play for the Warriors and performed well in recent season.  The 27 years old won runner-up for the Golden Bat award who made 286 runs in six games. Now, IPL franchises are keen to tie. His statement in Times Live quoted,  "I would love to get a show in the national team, especially in the T20s, but it's not really my call," Jacobs told The Times. "I can't see myself playing any better than I am at the moment so I'll just keep scoring runs and hope I'll get a chance."
