Amitabh Bachchan honored Lifetime Achievement Award in 4th Asian Awards

4th Asian Awards ceremony has held in Hong Kong late on Monday and Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan honored as Lifetime Achievement Award. Amitabh Bachchan is a monarch of bollywood. This monarch begins his film career from 1969 and total number of film is 182. He is now 67 years old but wants to carry on his acting career.

He says, "I hope I can go back and start working again. So long as there are people who wish to work with me, so long as I remain healthy, I would like to continue working."

 “If you recognise me, you recognise the Indian film fraternity, and indeed my own country. So, deeply, thank you,” said Bachchan after receiving award. Last month Amitabh Bachchan received Filmfare award for his good performance in this movie

Amitabh Bachchan is called godfather of Bollywood. Till now, he won 9 Lifetime Achievement Award. First, he won Lifetime Achievement Award in 1989 from the Rotary Club of Bombay.  

We know that his son and sister-in-law Aishwarya Rai is well-known actor in Bollywood. But now I through a question to fans of Hindi movie. Will Aishwarya rai and his son Abhishek Bachchan or any other actor or actress of bollywood to achieve this honour?

Hema and Esha walked in the WLIFW-AW 2010

The WLIFW-AW 2010, was held with the participation of 130 designers hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). the fashion lovers witnessed the participation of 75 of them also presenting shows and among whom 19 are debutants of the 130 designers.

Rocky S is a famous designer of Bollywood. 15th edition of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WLIFW). Two bollywood actress Esha Deol and his mother Hema Malini walked the ramp show together. Esha Deol wore a maroon and green bridal lehenga-choli. Esha Deol walked on the stage with her ever green mother. "I was a little nervous walking in this heavy ghagra, but thankfully I had my mother to hold onto," she added.

"It was wonderful walking the ramp. Rocky has given me a beautiful sari to wear. It has a wonderful combination and it was very nice walking with Esha," Hema told reporters.

Rocky's collection was for female saris, Churidaar Kurtas and for men long coats or sherwanis. The price start from starts from Rs.10,000- 1,15,000.

King Khan is the highest taxpayers this year

It is one of the prestigious issue to become top in any section. In Indian culture it may brought a fame especially in Bollywood film industry. Some of the stars always try to be best in the industry by paying highest tax in the history. Everyone will salute them for their contribution in Indian revenue. I am not a student of Economics but it doesn't need extra knowledge to feel this thing.

Bollywood king is once again the highest tax payer. We can say Shah Rukh Khan and Aksay Kumar are big earner in bollywood. Last year, Aksay Kumar was enlisted as the highest tax payer but this year Shah Rukh Khan has climbed in the top list of higher tax payer in bollywood film industry.

Among bollywood actress Kareena Kapoo’s name has the list of the highest tax payer. She tells a tabloid, “It’s been a great year for cinema and a great year for me in every way. I am happy to have pleased my fans and the public.”

Shah Rukh Khan pays Rs 30.99 crore and Kareena Kapoor gave Rs 3.7 crore. No doubt, Kareena Kapoor is the demanded brand ambassador. In 2009, Kareena kapoor’s 6 movies got release. 3 Idiots, Kambakkht Ishq was commercial successful movie.

Without them we can mentioned the name of Big B but he was highest tax payer in 2004-’05 year. Her sister-in-law Aishwarya Rai was also highest Tax payer that year.  It is good news that as a conscious citizen bollywood actor and actress pay their Tax honestly. I think their fans also will be inspired.

56th National Film Awards: V. K. Murthy and Priyanka Chopra honored

As a chief gust, President Pratibha Patil was present at 56th National Film Awards that was held in New Delhi on Friday on March 19 and handed over crests to the winners. Bollywood stars are awarded for the outstanding contribution in different sectors.

Dada Saheb Phalke Award was given for the year 2008 to the legendary cinematographer V. K. Murthy at the 56th National Film Awards function.

Priyanka Chopra awarded for ‘Fashion’ which film was released in 2008. Kangana Ranaut who acted as a supporting role in ‘Fashion’ was presents this national film award ceremony and got national award for supporting role. This award was great achievement for Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut.

Priyanka Chopra wares a white thread-work sari and Kangana Ranaut black salwar-kameez to received award from President Pratibha Patil. They expressed their expression Priyanka said, “It feels great. I just can't believe myself.” Kangana added, “It's absolutely amazing to be a part of it.”

Priyanka added, it was actually a double celebration for her, as my dad was also releasing a music album. "My whole family including parents and my grandparents were here to celebrate the National Awards ceremony. It's was a big moment for me and I wanted my all family members to be part of it. On Saturday (March 20), my father's music album releases. So the family has double reason to be together," Priyanka said from New Delhi.

Arjun Rampal got this national award for 'Rock On’ as a supporting actor.

Chinni Prakash and his wife Rekha Prakash received the award for best Choreography for the song ‘Azeem-o-shaan shehenshah’.

As a costume dizener  Aishwarya Rai in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ Neeta Lulla received this award. Apart from Nandita Das, Neeraj Pandey, Dibakar Banerjee took this award for different category.

Indian Squad for Twenty20 World Championship 2010 announced

A squad of 15 men has been announced in for the upcoming Twenty20 World Championship 2010 in West Indies. According to the selection committee one new face the Karnataka fast bowler Vinay Kumar has been named in the squad and Leg Spinner Piyush Chawla will fly along with the 15 men. The fast bowler Ishant Sharma and batsman Virat Kohli to miss the T20 World Cup this year.

The most expensive dress in Bollywood film Rs. 10 million

It’s true that Shah Rukh Khan is first superstar in the bollywood film industry who will be dressed in the most expensive body suit. Do you interested to know, how much is it?  Just 10 million Rupees. Anubhav Sinha’s forthcoming film ‘Ra.One’, in which film Shah Rukh Khan is in the lead actor. Aishwarya Rai 2010: Four films to release this year

We are excepting that we will get to watch four films of Aishwarya Rai this year. “Action Replay” and “Guzaarish” is Hindi film and “Ravana” and “Endhiran” is Tamil film. Last year Aishwarya Rai acted just one film Hollywood’s “Pink Panther”. All films were high budgeted film. Southern film “Endhiran” was made at a budget of Rs.125 corer (Rs.1.25 billion). Mani Ratnam has spent 45 corers to make “Ravana”.

“Endhiran” will get release October 2010 and “Ravana” may be in June. Aishwarya’s “Action replay” and “Guzaarish” is also one of the high budget films. In the film “Action Replay” it was invested 60 corer and Leela Bhansali’s “Guzaarish” spent around Rs.80 corer too.

After one year Aishwarya Rai is passing her busiest time for “Action Replay” along with Aksay Kumar. In “Action Replay” and the film may be will release June - August 2010.

“Raavan” and “Ravana” will release same time in June 18, in Hindi and Tamil language both film. Vikram Kennedy is in the both film as a lead character and Aishwarya Rai Plays as Sita in both versions. Abhishek Bachchan  has drawn the character of Raavan in Hindi and Vikram is in Tamil language.

According to news Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai has given tough shot for the film in the jungle of Kerala.

Aishearya rai’s other Tamil film “Endhiran” science fiction film. Four films will be release this year. I think Aishwarya Rai should be talk of the time this year beside Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor.
