India is fighting for 5th or 6th place Hockey Asia Cup 2009

India has been kicked out from the Hockey Asia Cup 2009 semifinal to beat China in the last match. The time winner got hut who dreamed to be the title holders this year too. They titled last two years. Although Pakistan is the most time title holder but India played in final most times comparing all team. A painful unfastened draw makes a strong dam to post them in the semifinals.

 

India was playing in the Pool B where arch rival Pakistan and a single time third position holder China were the oppositions. In the first match India beat to Pakistan 2–3 lost and draw win China could not able to qualified for the semifinals. As a result China one draw and one wins pushed them to Hockey Asia Cup 2009 semifinals.

 

Tomorrow India will take on Bangladesh to qualify for the 5^th or 6^th position. This is the first time India will have to perform for this position 5^th or 6^th place after founded in 1982.

Twenty20 World Cup 2009: Trophy has been unveiled in Mumbai

India, the World Twenty20 Champions of 2007, secured the title in the inaugural stage of the short formatted cricket tournament which was held in South Africa. The Trophy is at India now. The second edition of the championship will be hosted in England. The inaugural ceremony will be commenced on 5 June at Lord’s and the final match of World Twenty Championship will be held in Lord’s on 21 June. 7-1/2 kilograms weigh Trophy will be handed over to the wining captain of the season 2009 at Lord’s that was received by MS Dhoni, the Indian captain as a wining team in South Africa. Recently, Indian former captain and ICC ambassador Dilip Vengsarkar has unveiled the trophy of Twenty20 World Cup 2009 in Mumbai. He hopes that Indian will be the title holder this year too.
