Preview, live score, India vs New Zealand, 1st ODI, 3rd March 2009

India in on pressure after losing in the last two twenty20 matches along with New Zealand. India has lost its chain of victory. There was no doubt that India is the most popular country in cricket now. Even, if you look over the last series that they played along with Sri Lanka.

By tuning your TV channels you have to fix it in Set Max to watch the matches live. Important news is for the India local people, the local TV channel DD1 (DD National) will telecast the whole ODI matches.

1st ODI India v New Zealand

Venue: McLean Park, Napier, New Zealand

Match Date: Mar 3, 2009

Match scheduled to begin: 14:00 local time (01:00 GMT).

There are high expectations over the two teams of the fans. Indian fans have a tradition that they do not think India will be beat to others. Similarly, the previous twenty20 was terrible for the Indian. But the opposition, New Zealand is driving highly after beating the World Champions in the home series.

India has not any good winning recorders against New Zealand in there home series. Especially, the weather condition does not suite to any countries. That is why New Zealand is always best in the home series. In their windy condition they can do very well.

Although the wining recodes of the previous five matches on the favor of India and it just has lost one among the five as well as New Zealand just sacked two wins. But the statistics could be change anytime and any moment.

India boosts its side about Sachin Tendulkar’s returns but I am not confident about it because he totally failed to build any good score during the last ODI series along side Sri Lankan. India lost to Sri Lanka during the Asia Cup in spite of being beat Sri Lanka in CB Series.  Although, India wont he CB series that was held in Australia but despite of same weather condition New Zealand is totally diverse. India may be worried about their opening pair.

India also worried about its bowling line-up. Ishant Sharma is considered as the key player on the side of India bowling side but he may not appear in the 1st ODI on March 3, 2009.

But, New Zealand bowling are looking very stable after secured the 2-0 victory over the Indian in Twenty20 tournament.
