Katrina Kaif’s Association with Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Chopra’s Directorial Might Make Salman Khan Irked

Katrina Kaif has signed for veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra’s next film alongside Shah Rukh Khan. No doubt, it is a great offer for Katrina Kaif as it could take her career a new turn. These days Yash Chopra hardly directs movies. After his 2004 super hit Veer Zaara, this is going to be Mr. Chopra’s first directorial venture. So, Katrina can feel herself lucky to have such an offer from a director like Yash Chopra at this crucial stage of her career when she needs to take a giant leap. However, the problem lies in somewhere else.

Katrina Kaif’s real life love interest Salman Khan, who is now shooting away in London, might be hurt at Katrina Kaif sharing screen space with his enemy Shah Rukh Khan. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were involved in a hot spat at Katrina’s birthday party recently as both the actors threw negative remarks at each other. Later on, Salman Khan revealed in an interview that he had problems with Shah Rukh Khan and there was no possibility the problem could be solved ever. So, you do not need to be a Bollywood expert to guess the biter relationship between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are romantically involved for a number of years now and they are reportedly expected to get married this year or by the next year. Now, it is yet to see if Katrina Kaif’s association with Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Chopra’s movie make Salman Khan irked. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will also be seen playing two important roles in the movie.

Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan to Portray Shah Jahan-Mumtaz on Big Screen?

Reports out in the media suggest that one of the leading production houses in Bollywood is now planning to cast Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal respectively in a romantic film based on the story of Taj Mahal. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan earlier turned down at least five offers for portraying Mumtaz Mahal including an offer for a Ben Kingsley production. A source from the production house says that Abhishek’s look in the recent periodical movie Drona has made them think off a period film starring Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.


Surprisingly, Abhishek Bachchan is perhaps the only Bollywood star who has shot at Taj Mahal in Agra for five times so far in his career. Starting with Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya, Abhishek has also shot at Taj Mahal while filming Bunty Aur Babli, Jhoom Baraabar Jhoom, his cell phone advertisement last year and his upcoming film Rakeysh Mehra’s Dilli 6.


Now, let us see if the real life couple portrays the love of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan on the big screen for the Bollywood fans.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Sing in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’

After showing modeling and acting skill, now Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is awaiting to reveal her singing talent. Well, do not misinterpret my words thinking that she is going to take up signing as her new profession. The Bollywood super star will play the female lead role of Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film Raavan where she will portrays the role of a classical singer. After 2007 hit ‘Guru’ alongside hubby Abhishek Bachchan, Raavan is Aishwarya’s first film with Mani Ratnam.


According to a source, it has been revealed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will take training in classical singing for doing the role perfectly and might lend her voice to all her songs in the film. It is also reported that Aishwarya is a good singer in real life, but she needs to take training in classical singing for this movie and she will be taking lesions from a Guru on classical singing regularly.


Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also needs to shun her musical skills for a classical role to be portrayed by her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan in Rajiv Menon’s remake of Abhimaan starring AIshwarya and Abhishekk Bachchan in the lead roles in the movie.

Yash Chopra to Direct Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif in his Next Film

Salman Khan is now busy with shooting for Vipul Shah's London Dreams in Paris and London. Amitabh Bachchan to Sign for his First International Film by Oscar Winning Director

Bollywood’s legendary figure Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly going to sign in for an international film project. Amitabh Bachchan recently wrote in his blog that he might feature in the English language film which will be made by the French filmmakers of 2006 Oscar winning documentary "March of the Penguin".


Amitabh Bachchan also wrote that the film is set in India as well as France and the shooting might roll on at the end of next year. "March of the Penguin" was directed by French filmmaker Luc Jacquet and the documentary earned a fabulous sum of $77 million in the U.S.


Amitabh Bachchan also stated that he had received an offer from Hollywood script writer Taxi Driver and Raging Bull for a Hollywood project. However, Big B will take the final decision after going through the script.

Naseeruddin Shah Replaced Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Maharathi’

Naseeruddin Shah has taken up the role that was initially offered to Amitabh Bachchan in the movie Maharathi, which is a big-screen adaptation of a popular Gujarati comic play starring Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal. Amitabh Bachchan turned down the offer, citing that the role had shades of grey, told Paresh Rawal who directed the play in Gujarati.


Naseeruddin Shah was supposed play another role in the movie Maharathi, but after the opting out of Amitabh Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah took up the role. Amitabh Bachchan earlier rejected another movie titled Shoot On Sight, based on a story related to July 2007 London bombings. Considering the controversial issue, Mr. Bachchan turned down the offer. The movie has recently been banned in Pakistan as the movie addresses a controversial issue.


The movie Maharathi was initially expected to be directed by Vikram Bhatt, but he was later replaced by Shivum Nair. Paresh Rawal explained that he did not take the director’s role as he thought that a fresh cinematic vision was needed on the play. The shooting of the movie is about to end and Paresh Rawal is happy to be working with actors like Om Puri, Boman Irani.


About the movie, Paresh Rawal said that Maharathi is a classic comic thriller. He plays the role of a driver, the same role he played in the play. Terming the script watertight, Mr. Rawal said everything and everyone in the film is in right place.

Salman Khan to Write Tribute to his Father Salim Khan, If He Turns Actor

In response to a question whether he will turn into an author, Bollywood super star Salman Khan said that his first writing will be tribute to his father Salim Khan, famous screenwriter, if he really turns to writing in future. Salman Khan is currently shooting for his next film Hello which is the on-screen adaptation of popular novel 'One night @ the Call Centre' by Chetan Bhagat. The writer himself takes up the job of a narrator in the movie. Salman Khan plays the role of Chetan Bhagat in the movie.


Directed by Atul Agnihotri, the story of the movie tells events that six persons in a call centre encounter with one night. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif, Sharman Joshi, Gul Panag, Sohail Khan, Eesha Koppikar, Amrita Arora and Arbaz Khan. Hello is salted for release on October 10. Salman Khan has two more movies coming to hit the screens this year including Subhash Ghai's ‘Yuvraaj’ and Samir Karnik's 'Heroes'.
