Shoaib Akhtar has been banned for five years

Rawalpindi Express Shoeb Akter has been banned for five years for the violations of the playersr code conduct, PCB Chairman Nasim Ashraf told it to the press conference. You all know that Shoeb Akher was first banned during the Twenty20 inaugural world cup which was took place in South Africa by misbehaving with his teammate. Although he was punished just for a short time but now, it is a five years sentence.

The Hindu reported that "Shoaib can't play for Pakistan or anywhere in Pakistan. But he is free to play in the Indian Premier League which is not in our jurisdiction," Ashraf said. "Shoaib's presence damaged Pakistan cricket at every level and he has been banned from playing in any form of cricket. PCB has lost confidence on Shoaib," Ashraf said in a strongly worded decision by the Board.

After forcing the punishment Shoeb Akater will not allow to play any kinds of cricket in Pakistan but it will not make any barrage playing IPL.

Sachin Tendulkar will not play in the second match

After Australia test, Sachin Tendulkar's physio, John Gloster advised him to take a proper rest. Although he got a little bit time but that was not sufficient. Even hi advised to take rest for two-weeks. During the first test he was totally unfitted even he did not doing fielding well first, second and fourth day.

Tendulkar was advised two-weeks rest after the Australia tour and the then physio, John Gloster, in his fitness report, warned against the injury entering a chronic phase. Kaif last played a Test for India during the 2006 tour of the West Indies. He enjoyed an impressive domestic season for Uttar Pradesh and Central Zone, finishing fourth in the list of run-getters, scoring 993 runs in 13 first-class matches at an average of 58.41.

Mohammmad Kaif was selected for the second test instead of Tendulkar. Dear reader do you think is it right? I think tendulkar's bad performances are the main cause of drop out for the team??

PCA - ECB - IPL

I think IPL is in trouble abut English players. The first IPL is going to take place on April. But, its main problem is that they did able to accommodate the English players. The IPL is in conflict of the time schedule with county cricket. It has a great value to all the English men than others. It is clear to the opinion of the ECB chairman, Giles Clarke.

Currently, the IPL clashes with England's county season but Lalit Modi, its chairman, maintains his willingness to shift the dates of future tournaments in order to accommodate English players. The ECB chairman, Giles Clarke, strongly believes that England's players would rather play for their country than an Indian franchise, but Sean Morris, the PCA chief executive, is aware of the need for a balance.

"We will ask the players how they feel," he said. "We need to sit them down and ask their personal views - some might have different opinions to others. But I would like to think on behalf of the players we would be able to take advantage of this concept and allow them to reap the benefits.

Although, Lalit Modi, the chairman of IPL, told that they would keep in mind about the county cricket for the next episode of IPL. There is not only England team but also different home series. So, how they manage all the countries?

Ind vs SA: V Sehwag’s 309 and next test

The performance of the Indian team is mind blowing and V Sehwag is going to touch highest record now and scored 309 in the Future Cup Test series. Yesterday was the third of the first test of the three match series. V Shewag scored this run from 292 balls. He took these runs by hitting 41 fours and 5 sixes. It is the highest score of his career. In his 54 test career, his achievement is 13 centuries.

Now, all the fans are thinking that will V Sehwag break the record? It also the highest record of Ind vs SA matches. Before it, HH Gibbs was the higher record holder and 196 and Sachin Tendulkar was in the second highest record holder SR Tendulkar of 169 runs.

He has more record ahead of him to touch. If he can hit 7 fours he could cross over his own record against Pakistan in 2006. The highest four record holder is JH Edrich 52 who was an English players. 12 sixes is the highest in an innings V Sehwag is 5 now.

By scoring 309 runs, he just has touched his previous record which was against Pakistan. 17 highest record holders are ahead of him. If he can able to add just 10 runs he will able to the top 15th record holder.

I think the wicket is most favorable to the batsmen. It could easy to break the records. Now it is time to see what Sehwag can do. I got a quote on Cricinfo that "The spectators who were at the MA Chidambaram Stadium have witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime innings. Sehwag's awesome triple-century, 309 off 292 balls, has changed the course of this match dramatically. India have scored 386 runs today off 85 overs and are only 72 runs behind South Africa. It's fair to say that only one team can win this match from here and that is India. The pace at which Sehwag has scored his runs has kept this Test alive. If India can bat on tomorrow and gain a lead of around 200 shortly after tea (and it is possible if Sehwag bats on) the pressure will fully be on South Africa on a fifth day pitch. And there's the world record of Lara's 400 as well."

Do you thing that this score can help India to win the first test?? May be not, because India can score well but they are not mentally so strong that they could take risk by throwing a challenge to South Africa. Although it is sure that India can do anything anytime but not all time. I think they will not declare to the first innings before lunch. Anyway, there are many intelligent to take decision.

The second test will be held at Ahmedabad on Apr 3-7, 2008 and the third test at Kanpur - Apr 11-15, 2008.

South Africa is in Good position

At the end of the first South Africa scored 304 by 4 wickets in the first test of three match series. The MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai has come to favor to SA. GC Smith, captain SA won the toss and, who chose to bat first. At the end of the day, the fans of SA are congratulating Smith for the decision. All the three batsmen including Smith have done well except JH Kallis's 13.

South African batsmen have reached in a strong position depending on top order batsmen. Captain GC Smith 73, ND McKenzie 94, HM Amla 85 (not out) is the key point for SA. In the 34th over, getting on the front foot Smith tried to drive the ball towards mid-on but fails and it went to short midwicket, Laxman took the catch easily. So Smith had to return to the pavilion with 73 when SA reached 132.

Second wicket was hunter by Harbhajan Singh and that was McKenzie. McKenzie beat in the cleverness of H Singh. He failed to play a flighted in the 51th over, Dravid took the catch when the total runs come at 196.

Similarly the third wicket was taken by Harbhajan Singh when South Africa total score came 244. HM Amla was the 3rd fallen batsman in the first innings.

JH Kallis and AG Prince was the lowest scored in the first day of the first innings. This strong score will inspire SA to do well in the second day. I think they could do well.
