This is the second day of the Indian Premier league of the season 2 when Delhi Daredevils takes on Kings XI Punjab. Delhi Daredevils won the toss and chose to field first. Due to rain, Kings XI Punjab could not bat more that 12 overs as a result they able to add 104 run just losing 7 wickets. DL Vettori honored as the Man of the Mach for outstanding movement who kicked up 3wickets for 15 runs.
V Sehwag and K Goel got the maximum sixes awards by hitting 3 sixes. Due to rain, Delhi Daredevils’ innings fixed the target to 58 runs from 6 overs Delhi Daredevils reached to the target remaining 7 balls without any wickets.
As a result, Delhi Daredevils gets the full points from its first match and third match of DLF IPL T20 2009 season 2.
