If may bring some changes in New Zealand squad in the 3rd ODI that is going to take place on 8 March 2009. The host is behind a step after losing the first ODI alongside India. It hopes there could change too in the 2nd ODI, especially Brendon McCullum who faced thumb injury but he come to field to dominate Indian bowlers. But for the 3rd ODI, it expects that captain Daniel Vettori should keep out because he is going to become a father of a child. But her wife Mary is facing little bit problem that is why he may not present in the 3rd ODI against the guest India.

In his absence, Jeetan Patel will cover the gap of spin side. Jeetan Patel was debuted with ODIs on Aug 31, 2005 against Zimbabwe. He just has played 37 ODIs and picked up 42 wickets. The best bowling figure is 3 wickets to 11 runs. He used to play first class Cricket on the side of England Lions. Although the latest bowling figure is not good, he just picked up one wicket in the last five-ODIs against Australia.

It expects that there will be not changed in that squad. The T20I winning hero Brendon McCullum will be available as well. Although the 2nd ODI was proponent for bad weather but in the first, ODI MJ Guptill played the roll as key batsmen who scored 64 runs from 70 balls.
