Akshay Kumar’s Chandni Chowk to China has been banned to Nepal

Akshay Kumar’s new Bollywod movie "Chandni Chowk to China" has been released on 16 January 2009. Most of the bollywood loving countries are showing this movie except Nepal, in the world. Nepal has petitioned about this movie. The main cause is Aksay Kumar told that the Buddha was born in India, in the film. The birth place of Buddha is Lumbini, Southwest of Katmandu. In Nepal 11 percent people are Buddhist. Information and Communication ministry of Nepal declared that we have banned the movie.

"We deleted the scene after checking the movie from the authorised distributor, but we cannot remove the scene on illegal videos that is smuggled into the country," said Narayan Prasad Regmi, spokesperson at the Ministry of Information and Communications. 

The Buddhist asked all kinds of help from Nepal Government to stop this movie in Nepal. But in illegal CDs/DVDs are being handing over in Nepal across the Indian borders.

Nepal’s Foreign Minister Regmi asked to take steps to stop this movie in other countries. 80 percent Hindu and 11 percent Buddhist have been living in Nepal where Indian movie is so popular and Hindi language is available there. Nepalese are excited this type of wrong information about ‘Siddartha Gautama’ who was born 2,500 years ago and at Lumbini. Nepal is a deeply spiritual place and Nepalese are really socked so they want to stop this movie in Nepal and other country.

Nine years ago 3 people are killed and 180 injured for this that Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan said that he did not like Nepal and Nepalese.
