Manchester United Defeated AaB Aalborg 3-0 Thanks to Dimitar Berbatov Double

Manchester United’s excellent 3-0 away victory at AaB Aalborg was marred by a seemingly serious injury sustained by midfielder Paul Scholes. However, the Red Devils went into the match on the back of two confidence booster domestic victories and they could build on those victories in last night’s Champions League encounter. Moreover, Manchester United’s record signing Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov, who was making his Champions league debut, at last scored for his new club.

Two strikes from Dimitar Berbatov made the task easy for United to ensure three points from the match. The striker played very well and in fact, he showed his best performance since joining the club over the summer in a move from Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester United started their Champions league campaign with a goalless draw at home against Villarreal. Now, Manchester United is leading the Group E with 4 points from two matches.
