Indian Premier League (IPL) match Schedule

ICC backed and BCCI established IPL will be started from 18 April 2008. It is the first and inaugural twenty20 tournament. Still now, IPL has to face trouble to collect the players. PCA - ECB - IPL

I think IPL is in trouble abut English players. The first IPL is going to take place on April. But, its main problem is that they did able to accommodate the English players. The IPL is in conflict of the time schedule with county cricket. It has a great value to all the English men than others. It is clear to the opinion of the ECB chairman, Giles Clarke.

Currently, the IPL clashes with England's county season but Lalit Modi, its chairman, maintains his willingness to shift the dates of future tournaments in order to accommodate English players. The ECB chairman, Giles Clarke, strongly believes that England's players would rather play for their country than an Indian franchise, but Sean Morris, the PCA chief executive, is aware of the need for a balance.

"We will ask the players how they feel," he said. "We need to sit them down and ask their personal views - some might have different opinions to others. But I would like to think on behalf of the players we would be able to take advantage of this concept and allow them to reap the benefits.

Although, Lalit Modi, the chairman of IPL, told that they would keep in mind about the county cricket for the next episode of IPL. There is not only England team but also different home series. So, how they manage all the countries?

Ind vs SA: V Sehwag’s 309 and next test

The performance of the Indian team is mind blowing and V Sehwag is going to touch highest record now and scored 309 in the Future Cup Test series. Yesterday was the third of the first test of the three match series. V Shewag scored this run from 292 balls. He took these runs by hitting 41 fours and 5 sixes. It is the highest score of his career. In his 54 test career, his achievement is 13 centuries.

Now, all the fans are thinking that will V Sehwag break the record? It also the highest record of Ind vs SA matches. Before it, HH Gibbs was the higher record holder and 196 and Sachin Tendulkar was in the second highest record holder SR Tendulkar of 169 runs.

He has more record ahead of him to touch. If he can hit 7 fours he could cross over his own record against Pakistan in 2006. The highest four record holder is JH Edrich 52 who was an English players. 12 sixes is the highest in an innings V Sehwag is 5 now.

By scoring 309 runs, he just has touched his previous record which was against Pakistan. 17 highest record holders are ahead of him. If he can able to add just 10 runs he will able to the top 15th record holder.

I think the wicket is most favorable to the batsmen. It could easy to break the records. Now it is time to see what Sehwag can do. I got a quote on Cricinfo that "The spectators who were at the MA Chidambaram Stadium have witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime innings. Sehwag's awesome triple-century, 309 off 292 balls, has changed the course of this match dramatically. India have scored 386 runs today off 85 overs and are only 72 runs behind South Africa. It's fair to say that only one team can win this match from here and that is India. The pace at which Sehwag has scored his runs has kept this Test alive. If India can bat on tomorrow and gain a lead of around 200 shortly after tea (and it is possible if Sehwag bats on) the pressure will fully be on South Africa on a fifth day pitch. And there's the world record of Lara's 400 as well."

Do you thing that this score can help India to win the first test?? May be not, because India can score well but they are not mentally so strong that they could take risk by throwing a challenge to South Africa. Although it is sure that India can do anything anytime but not all time. I think they will not declare to the first innings before lunch. Anyway, there are many intelligent to take decision.

The second test will be held at Ahmedabad on Apr 3-7, 2008 and the third test at Kanpur - Apr 11-15, 2008.

South Africa is in Good position

At the end of the first South Africa scored 304 by 4 wickets in the first test of three match series. The MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai has come to favor to SA. GC Smith, captain SA won the toss and, who chose to bat first. At the end of the day, the fans of SA are congratulating Smith for the decision. All the three batsmen including Smith have done well except JH Kallis's 13.

South African batsmen have reached in a strong position depending on top order batsmen. Captain GC Smith 73, ND McKenzie 94, HM Amla 85 (not out) is the key point for SA. In the 34th over, getting on the front foot Smith tried to drive the ball towards mid-on but fails and it went to short midwicket, Laxman took the catch easily. So Smith had to return to the pavilion with 73 when SA reached 132.

Second wicket was hunter by Harbhajan Singh and that was McKenzie. McKenzie beat in the cleverness of H Singh. He failed to play a flighted in the 51th over, Dravid took the catch when the total runs come at 196.

Similarly the third wicket was taken by Harbhajan Singh when South Africa total score came 244. HM Amla was the 3rd fallen batsman in the first innings.

JH Kallis and AG Prince was the lowest scored in the first day of the first innings. This strong score will inspire SA to do well in the second day. I think they could do well.

Indian Squad, against South Africa

BCCI selection commission has declared 14 members squad for the upcoming test series between India and South Africa in the Indian home ground. On Monday, they decided that the squad is for the first two tests of the three-match series. The series will start form 26 March in Chennai and the second test on 3 April on Ahmedabad.

Before the test two counties is mentally strong because India played a mind blowing cricket against Australia and South Africa also showed a strong performances against Bangladesh both ODI and Test. Mentionable, Indian performances in the Commonwealth Bank tri-nation series was so aggressive. Although the some wrong decision through India form the victory of test series.

The declared squad is looking good but I am confused about why Zaheer Khan is not on the in the squad. Here are three spinners and three pacer although Irfan Pathan is considered as a little bit all-rounder.

Squad: Wasim Jaffer, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Vangipurappu Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wicketkeeper), Irfan Pathan, Anil Kumble (captain), Harbhajan Singh, Murali Kartik, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Rudra Pratap Singh.

Kareena’s is not accepting Saif

Some days ago there was news in the media that Saif Ali Kahan tried to convince Karishma Kapoor and became successful to this mission; even Kareena’s father also declared that if Bebo becomes happy then he has no problem. But Kareena’s mother did not accept Saif-kareen relationship form her heart and has become displeased.

Bebo’s Mother Babita is so much knowledgeable and did not any mishehave with Saif and acting very simple so that everyone could think that she has no negative though about Saif.

Our well-placed source in the industry says, "Babita has not done anything in public so far to reveal her opinion of Bebo's relationship with Saif. She has been very cordial with Saif, but when alone with Kareena, she does not leave any opportunity to tell her that Saif is not the right choice for her."

So what is the problem with Saif? "It's not that Babita dislikes Saif as a person. She finds him a nice guy. Her problem is Saif's age. While Kareena is 27, Saif is 37. The 10-year age gap is disturbing Babita. She feels Saif is a bit too old for Kareena."

As, Bebo’s mother could not take Saif simply, so will the romance will come end now? Kareena doesn’t think so. She thinks that her family and also her mother will accept their relationship sooner or later.

IPL official website vs IPL Tournament

Indian Premier League (IPL) has been created by BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and ICC also has leaded behind it. It is a Twenty20 Cricket format championship. It was established just rivalry of ICL. I think you will not find any difference with the ICL and you all know that BCCI was totally against on ICL and some officials told that the ICL format will destroy the traditional Cricket. Do you think so? It may be wrong from my view. Actually, it is right that there was no benefit of BCCI to setup ICL and that is why BCCI created Indian Premier League (IPL).

My article is about Indian Premier League (IPL) official website. Dear Cricket fans, did you visit Indian Premier League (IPL) official website? The report I have written on 7 March 2008. I did not find any important (even less important) information on that website. Most of the pages are not active at all. Although you could get a little bit information but it is out of work.

In the first page you will not able to get any information except this (see the picture below). Here you can see the date and links indicating click here for more information. Among three does not work. May be it updated last on 20 February. It’s mean that there was no essential news in Indian Premier League (IPL) office.

If you visit the Wikipedia you only get the information about the money. You will see the list of

1 Fixtures

2 Television Rights

3 Title Sponsorship Rights

4 Franchises

5 Administration

6 Player signings

7 See Also

8 External links

9 References

But here no information about fixture, if you want then you have to visit another page. It is showing that is a big match of money, money and money.

Which one is the best, IPL or ICL

The second ICL tournament will be held on 10 March 2008. So, what is important thing in ICL than IPL in the second tournament? In the inaugural ceremony IPL is facing so many problems to recruit the players. It seems that this ICL will be more acceptable that the inaugural ceremony. I think you will ask me why?

The Indian Cricket League (ICL) is the only tournament of its kind that can keep alive the "great India-Pakistan rivalry". That's the view of the ICL's business head, Himanshu Mody, who was explaining its positioning vis-à-vis the ICC-backed Indian Premier League (IPL), which has a much higher profile and is operating on a larger scale.

The launch of the Lahore Badshahs team, which will participate in the tournament that begins on Sunday, will "add a whole new dimension to the league," Mody told Cricinfo. The side features 15 Pakistanis, including Inzamam-ul Haq, Mohammad Sami and Saqlain Mushtaq, and is coached by the former wicketkeeper, Moin Khan.

So it is clear that ICL is getting a team named Lahore Badshahs where all the members are form Pakistan. And, if any team comes on with all Indian players then it will be similar attraction like India vs Pakistan match.

Hrithik Roshan unhappy with Kish-2

Krrish was perhaps the first bollywood movie superman style. Infact, before Krish there is no good super hero type of style movie in bollywood. And Hirthk Roshan was the hero of Krish. The father of Hrithk Roshan, Rakesh Roshan is going to make Krish-2 and he has taken his son Hrithk Roshan in it. The father and son are now trying to make a very good movie so that it can be very successful in box-office. Already they tried to take Shah Rukh Khan and he is not interested and they are trying to get another actor.

There is a rumor that Rrithik Rosha is not very happy with the script of Krish-2. In fact the final script of Krish-2 has not ready yet and it is the draft level. Hrithk Roshan does not like the draft and wants to change it

Cricket Bat Kookaburra and who use it?

I have been writing about Cricket since August 2007. Most of the time, I wrote about the cricket players, the grounds, batting, bowling and fielding. Suddenly, ideas come to my mind that why I haven’t written about the equipments which use for playing cricket match. Now, I am writing about the Cricket Bats.

In this post I am writing about the Cricket Bat, Kookaburra. We all know, before starting any works you will get some history behind it. Kookaburra has also. Kookaburra was established in 1890, the brainchild of saddle and harness maker Alfred Grace Thompson. After immigrating to Australia in search of a warmer climate, Thompson found that his trade was being eaten away by the advent of the motor industry and consequently decided to use his experience in leather to expand into the provision of sporting goods. Ably assisted by his sons Bill and Alf, Thompson's traditional production methods were soon in demand, particularly within the burgeoning cricket ball market. From these beginnings, the Kookaburra brand has been propelled forward by four generations of the Thompson family, all the while remaining true to the need for product development to remain at the core of the business.

According to the difference source I have got a lot of information about the kinds of Kookaburra Bats. It is different types and that is why different payers chose it. Kookaburra Blade Runner Cricket Bats 2008, England batsman Owais Shah prefer it. There is also variation Kookaburra Blade. It is 6 kinds.

Kookaburra Ice Sub Zero Cricket Bats 2008, is the choice of Michael Hussey and Jamie Dalrymple. There are seven kinds of Kookaburra Ice Cricket Bats. Similarly, it is different is types and comfortable for different match and the players use it in different kinds of match. The comment about Kookaburra Genesis Hurricane Cricket Bat "I've always felt the advantage belongs to the person who sizes it. Whether stealing a quick single or sending it back over the heads, I play my game at 100%. The genesis gives me speed and the control to stay one step ahead". - Mike Hussey

Kookaburra Kahuna is the favorite cricket bat of Australia Captain Ricky Ponting. He has a lot of positive comment on this cricket enhancement. He uses different types of Kookaburra Kahuna in different match and also uses some important comments in which time which bat is well.

These are the most important cricket bat form Kookaburra (Blade Cricket Bats, Ice Cricket Bats, Genesis Cricket Bats, Junior Cricket Bats).

Here is a list of those players who use Kookaburra Bats for cricket match. AB de Villiers, Andy Bichel, Ben Hutton, Brett Lee, Damien Martyn, David Alleyne, David Hemp, Ed Joyce, Ed Smith, Hamish Marshall, Hashim Amla, Hylton Ackerman, Ian Harvey James Marshall Jamie Dalrymple Jamie How Jeetan Patel Justin Kemp Justin Langer Kumar Sangakkara Matt Windows Michael Di venuto Michael Hussey Michael Yardy Nathan Astle Nathan Bracken Philip Mustard Ricky Ponting Robin Peterson Roger Sillence Sanath Jayasuriya Scott Styris Stephen Moore. I have got these names from Cricket Bats website but did not get any payer of Indian team who use Kookaburra Bat for paying match.

You will get a lot of information on Kookaburra Cricket Bats in different web site and can buy it from there. cricketdirect.com is among those where you will get information about cricket equipment.

Gilchrist talks on behalf of Mathew Hayden

Adam Gilchrist says that Matthew Hayden is the most honorable person of the Australian team yet, Cricket Australia having warning him for abusing Harbhajan Singh an ‘obnoxious weed’. Gilchrist said that the team was conscious to their behavior and concentrated to their playing of the CB series. He added more that we weren’t worry for saying it to Harbhajan Singh. According to my view, Matthew didn’t do such behavior to any player. We do not care what the other team’s thing about Matthew Hayden.

Gilchrist also included that before it Ricky Ponting told Harbhajan ‘off’ then he was suspected form an ODI match in Adelaide. But Ricky Ponting didn’t say like this words that was expressed in daily news paper.

This is the last international series for Gilchrist so he wants to enjoy the series. He is pleased because, he didn’t involved with any allege of ongoing controversial between Australia and India. Now, his sight is on the up coming two or three final matches between Australia and India. He is hopeful to do soothing well in the next final matches of his last ODI matches in his carrier.

Gilchrist said, “I think every body has a little repentance over it but all of us should try to focus to the finals and play some good cricket forgetting all incident of miss behaves to each other.” source Cricinfo
