India has cashed a fighting score in Adelaide

The first innings (Indian 1st innings, India won the toss and elected to bat first,) 4th test between Australia and India has been dismissed by 526 runs. Except some of top order batsmen, all scored well. Especially I have to mention the name Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh did a very good score and India reached 526 a big score.

Cricinfo displayed on its live commentary: Kumble walks off the field after a fantastic effort, he was the last man out for 87 and added 58 for the last wicket with Ishant. India are all out for 526, a fantastic effort. Australia will be relieved to get off the field, they dropped as many as six catches in the innings.

No doubt that Australia is a strong team in the world. Its bowling line is so strong. Although they tired to dismiss the wickets earlier but failed. The lower orders batsmen Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh show a strong performance. Depending on them India had cashed a fighting score of 526 in the first innings of the 4th test at Adelaide.

Well the break was pushed back by 30 minutes for Australia to try and take the final wicket but they failed to do so. India have motored past 500 and Anil Kumble is within sight of his second Test century. He's on 86 and has added 57 runs with Ishant for the last wicket.

"Remember," Ben in Australia." England scored 551 runs in the first innings last year at the Adelaide Oval and still lost by 6 wickets. Long way to go in this Test." Jenny geeks in with: "And what about Australia's first-innings 556 in a loss the last time these two teams met in a Test here in 2003? It is indeed a long way to go but it's shaping up nicely." We'll bring you every ball.

So the score is almost a fighting score for both the teams. The first innings was totally breaking and buildings records. Now it is time to see what the result come.
