A new formatted New Zealand Team Tour of South Africa

New Zealand is bringing some serious changes in the team, aim to the upcoming tour in South Africa. During that time, they to play three one-day internationals and two Twenty20 games and two match of test. The selection board and the coach are thinking to change with some points that are injury, opportunity for new comer etc. But some of them will play ODI and Twenty20 matches but will not play test matches.

The Stuff reported that "The selectors are looking to form a quality opening partnership," Bracewell said today.

"Craig Cumming is the incumbent and is acknowledged as a quality player of pace, while Michael Papps is being rewarded after an excellent domestic season.

"James Franklin was not included due to knee injury, and it's hoped he will be fit enough to be considered for the ODI team."

According to these changes the selection board has announced the team for the upcoming tour. In this squad the following name has taken the place. Daniel Vettori (captain), Shane Bond, Craig Cumming, Stephen Fleming, Mark Gillespie, Peter Fulton, Chris Martin, Michael Mason, Brendon McCullum, Kyle Mills, Jacob Oram, Michael Papps, Jeetan Patel, Scott Styris, Ross Taylor

Here Daniel Vettori is going to lead the team first time as test captaincy. So the old format has totally changed.
