England vs India 3rd ODI : Lewis comes to cover Flintoff

3rd One Day International of the NatWest series between England and India will begin without the Andrew Flintoff who is most responsible all-rounder in the England Cricket Team. Andrew Flintoff crashed with the advertisement board during the 2nd ODI at Bristol. Lewis, who is an England team, will play in the 3rd ODI on Monday at Birmingham.

BBC reported on Saturday, 25 August 2007, that, England has called up Jon Lewis to their squad for the next two one-day internationals against India following an injury scare to Andrew Flintoff.

Flintoff, who has just returned to action after a third operation on his left ankle, suffered stiffness in his right knee in Friday's loss in Bristol.

Lewis, 32 on Sunday, last played for England against New Zealand in January, although he was named in the World Cup squad but came home early for personal reasons.

In this serious moment, it is a big pressure for England. In Bristol, India won by nine runs and level the seven-match series at 1-1. If they want to win the next matches, a man likes Andrew Flintoff is most important.
